The authors are comparing and differentiating transference-feelings patients have toward several therapeutical figures. They try to objectify these intrapsychic processes through the repertory grid technique of Kelly. Results obtained in 3 small groups are given. The possibilities in objectifying and differentiating transference feelings toward several therapeutical figures were confirmed. But, it seemed rather difficult to formulate predictions for groups as the results are dependent on the individually coloured situations in which the patients are. Furthermore, the method seemed to be dependent on the subjects’ capacities to be aware of their emotions or fantasies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
