Este artículo estudia el efecto de las medidas educativas implementadas por el gobierno argentino durante la cuarentena por Covid-19, en especial aquellas destinadas a garantizar la continuidad educativa en las escuelas del nivel primario mediante el programa oficial “seguimos educando” en un contexto de segregación educativa. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio y descriptivo, utilizando un método cualitativo a partir de entrevistas a docentes de escuelas primarias de la ciudad de Bahía Blanca, quienes debieron implementar las políticas en un contexto de desigualdad. La brecha digital y las desigualdades culturales y económicas profundizan la segregación educativa durante la pandemia.
Durante el primer año de la pandemia por la Covid-19, el gobierno argentino dispuso un confinamiento estricto que llevó al cierre de todas las escuelas. En consecuencia, el personal docente continuó enseñando de manera no presencial, adaptándose a los recursos tecnológicos disponibles en sus escuelas. Entonces, se evidenció una segregación educativa entre los sectores público y privado, aumentada por la brecha digital existente. Al año siguiente, se produjo la vuelta a la presencialidad escolar con estrictos protocolos destinados a minimizar el riesgo de contagio en las escuelas. El presente trabajo desarrolla un método descriptivo y cualitativo, a partir de entrevistas a docentes del nivel secundario de Bahía Blanca, Argentina. Se les indagó sobre percepciones y experiencias respecto de la educación en pandemia durante los años 2020 y 2021. En los resultados, se destaca que la vuelta a la presencialidad logró equilibrar las desigualdades educativas evidenciadas el año anterior por la brecha digital. Asimismo, tanto docentes como estudiantes, pudieron adaptarse a los protocolos sanitarios y valoraron positivamente el regreso a las aulas.
La aparición de la Covid-19 en todo el mundo generó un cierre masivo de escuelas durante el año 2020, no obstante, el personal docente continuó enseñando mediante la educación a distancia, adaptando diversas estrategias según sus posibilidades. El presente trabajo analiza las consecuencias educativas de la pandemia en la educación secundaria argentina durante su primer año y cuáles fueron las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) utilizadas por los docentes y el alumnado, en un contexto de segregación educativa. La investigación consiste en un estudio descriptivo utilizando un método cualitativo a partir de entrevistas a docentes y directivos de escuelas pertenecientes al nivel secundario de la ciudad de Bahía Blanca, a quienes se les indagó sobre percepciones y experiencias en torno a los distintos métodos tecnológicos de educación utilizados durante el año escolar 2020. Los resultados de la investigación dan cuenta de una relación entre las condiciones socioeconómicas del alumnado y las herramientas utilizadas por sus profesores. En especial se destaca el uso de la aplicación WhatsApp, la cual se reduce a la única tecnología disponible para la mayoría de los estudiantes que concurren a los colegios secundarios más pobres, ya que para ellos el celular fue su único medio de conexión educativa.
Este artículo analiza el programa Seguimos Educando, desarrollado por el Ministerio de Educación de Argentina como propuesta de continuidad educativa ante el contexto de aislamiento obligatorio por Covid-19. Se analiza su aplicación a partir de su normativa y sus efectos en términos de segregación educativa. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio y descriptivo, utilizando un método cualitativo, a partir de entrevistas a docentes del nivel primario de la ciudad de Bahía Blanca, a quienes se les propuso dicha herramienta educativa en un contexto de desigualdad. Los resultados del trabajo indican que en la ciudad estudiada la brecha digital, las desigualdades en el capital económico de las familias, y las distintas estrategias educativas adoptadas por los docentes significan un límite al programa propuesto por el gobierno nacional, el cual no registró una aplicación efectiva en los docentes entrevistados. Asimismo, se evidencia una extensión de la segregación educativa en el plano virtual.
