Proses pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 4 Kota Kupang yang masih menggunakan buku cetak dan banyak alat peraga rusak serta laboratorim yang di gunakan sebagai ruang kelas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan sebanyak 81,2% siswa membutuhkan sebuah alat peraga yang dapat membantu memahami materi yang di ajarkan. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan berupa alat peraga sel hewan di SMP N 4 Kota Kupang yang layak dan praktis agar dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian Research And Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE dengan 5 langkah yaitu: 1) Analisis , 2) Desain, 3) Pengembangan , 4) Implementasi, dan 5) Evaluasi . Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, analisis kuantitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket. Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi ahli materi mendapat skor 96,8% termasuk kategori sangat layak, ahli desain mendapat skor 95% dengan kategori sangat layak, ahli media mendapat skor 91,6% sangat layak, sedangkan pada uji kelompok kecil adalah 89,7% dan uji coba kelompok besar adalah 93,15% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian para validator dan uji coba kelompok mendapat respon yang positif dan dapat dikatakan alat peraga sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dikerena alat peraga dibuat dari bahan yang murah dan dikemas dalam bentuk yang praktis serta warnanya tidak mencolok dan menarik semangat belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat peraga dari bahan sederhana ini layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi sel hewan.
