Em março de 2020, a nova doença causada pelo Coronavírus, a COVID-19, foi classificada como pandêmica pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), a partir de então uma série de medidas começaram a ser tomadas em diversos países com a intenção de controlar a quantidade de casos da doença. Dentre as medidas tomadas, o isolamento social se destacou como uma delas. Esta pesquisa, fez a junção de dois estudos complementares, que têm como objetivo observar, refletir e questionar sobre como esse momento de pandemia, bem como as adaptações necessárias, têm influenciado a qualidade de vida dos estudantes e profissionais da musicoterapia. O estudo um é uma pesquisa bibliográfica integrativa, que foi feita em 3 portais de busca. O estudo dois é uma pesquisa de campo exploratória sobre a qualidade de vida dos estudantes e profissionais de musicoterapia, feita através da aplicação de entrevista e questionário de auto relato. Os resultados obtidos indicam que de fato a qualidade de vida dos estudantes de musicoterapia e profissionais musicoterapeutas tem sido afeta pela situação de pandemia, sendo que os principais prejuízos que afetaram a auto percepção da qualidade de vida foram: diminuição da energia e aumento da fadiga, sono e repouso e capacidade para o trabalho.
