RESUMO Introdução: Periódicos são mediadores científicos legítimos em comunidades acadêmicas. Eles funcionam como marcadores institucionais para definir fronteiras entre disciplinas, domínios de pesquisa e áreas de conhecimento. O seu estudo permite compreender rotinas intelectuais, tópicos de investigação e a ascensão ou o declínio de modelos de análise ao longo do tempo. Este artigo trata desses problemas explorando as mudanças temáticas da Revista de Sociologia e Política durante três décadas de existência. Materiais e Métodos: Utilizando técnicas bibliométricas, analisamos os metadados de 746 documentos publicados entre novembro de 1993 (número 1) e dezembro de 2019 (n. 72). Dois tipos de análises foram feitos: 1) coocorrência de termos nos títulos e resumos dos artigos; 2) cocitação de autores nas referências bibliográficas. Resultados: Os dados mostraram uma mudança acentuada no perfil do periódico, que deixou de ser uma publicação centrada em temas variados de ciências sociais, história política e teoria social para se tornar uma publicação especializada em tópicos da agenda mainstream de Ciência Política. Descrevemos esse processo metaforicamente como “americanização” da Revista de Sociologia e Política. Discussão: A assunção de temas tradicionais de Ciência Política (tais como partidos, eleições, legislativo etc.), pautados por uma abordagem empírica e quantitativa, acompanha e documenta as transformações ocorridas na própria Ciência Política brasileira do início do século XXI.
É buscado no presente texto descrever trajetória de mulheres de partidos de direita e seus vínculos com a sociedade civil, tomando como objeto a legislatura iniciada em 2019. O recorte temporal é tido como central por ilustrar a expansão da direita nacional, a diversificação dos seus perfis, em um período marcado pelo aumento da participação feminina nos postos de poder decisório no país. O objetivo é traçar um mapa dos diferentes modelos de acesso ao poder, e compreender se as neófitas em nossa Câmara se apresentam com históricos ou vínculos diferentes daquelas com maior experiência.
