A lo largo de las últimas décadas, presenciamos fenómenos de protesta social, acciones colectivas y organización con un fuerte componente juvenil en todo el mundo. Esta mayor visibilización de las juventudes como sujeto político diferenciado con demandas y acciones propias ha ido de la mano de la consolidación de estos estudios. En este contexto el artículo tiene como objetivo responder qué moviliza a los y las jóvenes a participar en acciones colectivas juveniles. Metodológicamente, la investigación es cualitativa, con una perspectiva interpretativa. Se trabaja con un estudio de caso múltiple conformado por una biblioteca popular y un centro cultural. Ambos están situados en barrios populares del área metropolitana de Mendoza, Argentina y resultan representativos de otras experiencias juveniles que se alejan de las estructuras formales de la participación política. Se indaga el universo motivacional y el campo afectivo de las prácticas participativas. Concluimos que hay una motivación individual que solo puede ser resuelta colectivamente y que, en ese proceso, el grupo de pares va nutriendo de sentido la experiencia cotidiana, se construye un soporte vincular habilitante de las acciones * Este artículo nace de la tesis doctoral denominada "Juventudes y participación: Un estudio sobre las prácticas participativas de los y las jóvenes de sectores populares en Mendoza (2003Mendoza ( -2015".
(analítico)Artículo resultado de una reflexión conjunta realizada en dos ciudades, una de Argentina y una de Colombia. El estudio cualitativo sobre cómo y por qué surgieron cuatro espacios de participación juvenil permitió encontrar en palabras de los y las jóvenes de sectores populares la expresión de experiencias cargadas de vulnerabilidad social. Con el objetivo de construir miradas regionales a partir de investigaciones situadas, las autoras articularon sus hallazgos en torno al estudio de procesos comunitarios juveniles surgidos como respuestas al juvenicidio y la precariedad de la vida en la comuna 13, Medellín (Colombia) y dos barrios populares de Mendoza (Argentina). Estos espacios vitales para los y las jóvenes construyen identidades colectivas en clave territorial, generacional y de clase, y proponen nuevos sentidos que impugnan aquellos que circulan desde visiones hegemónicas.

El siguiente artículo es una investigación de carácter exploratorio sobre la politización juvenil en torno a las prácticas políticas y los discursos de la derecha liberla/libertaria en la provincia de Mendoza durante el año 2022. Exploramos los perfiles de jóvenes (militantes y adherentes) libertarios/liberales, sus compromisos militantes y el proceso de subjetivación política. Trabajamos con técnicas cualitativas y cuantitativas. Concluimos que el fenómeno de la participación en este espacio político en Mendoza está atravesado por una impronta juvenil de sectores sociales diversos. Además, se presenta como un espacio fuertemente masculinizado y son convocados por la noción de libertad individual y el descrédito de las políticas progresistas.
