Se analizan las condiciones de amenazas de origen natural y de exposición de las actividades económicas en un fiordo norpatagónico, de Chiloé continental. Se considera como un territorio extremo debido a la inexistencia actual de vías de comunicación terrestres. Si bien el poblamiento es escaso, no así las actividades económicas vinculadas a la acuicultura. El Estado de Chile ha planificado construir un tramo de la carretera austral en la vertiente oriental del fiordo (Ruta CH-7). En este escenario, se analizan las amenazas de origen natural y cómo éstas afectan los territorios con aptitud productiva y la carretera austral proyectada. Metodológicamente se realizó trabajo geomorfológico y procesamiento de geoinformacion SIG para establecer las amenazas; éstas fueron superpuestas con los usos del suelo y del agua. El resultado expresa un territorio con multi-amenazas y con una alta exposición de las actividades económicas actuales y proyectadas, potenciado por la influencia de la carretera Austral.
