Buscando compreender as relações entre o Piano e Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA) de modo a favorecer as ações dos educadores musicais/professores de piano e contribuir com a produção acadêmica da área de pedagogia do piano, esse trabalho tem como objetivo investigar, por meio de uma revisão sistemática, o conhecimento produzido sobre o ensino de piano para pessoas autistas, até o presente momento. A busca dos trabalhos foi realizada nas seguintes bases de dados: Periódicos da CAPES, Banco de Teses Brasileiras (BDTD), Portal Brasileiro de Acesso Aberto à Informação Científica (OasisBr), ResearchGate e Scopus, e nos principais periódicos nacionais da área de música. Foram eleitos 15 trabalhos, e a literatura revisada aponta a importância de que o professor conheça estratégias de ensino diversificadas e saiba adequá-las às limitações e potencialidades do aluno, buscando sempre proporcionar vivências musicais significativas no aprendizado do instrumento.
