La competencia global como objetivo de aprendizaje, ha tomado relevancia desde su inclusión en el Programa para la Evaluación Internacional de los Estudiantes (PISA), una competencia que se construye en base a distintos modelos de educación global como la educación intercultural, la educación para la ciudadanía o la educación para la democracia. Pese al creciente interés por esta competencia, son numerosas las cuestiones que requieren de una reflexión profunda, tales como ¿Qué es la competencia global? ¿Cómo se ha construido? ¿Desde qué enfoques se parte en los procesos discursivos para su construcción? y ¿Qué aporta la educación intercultural a este constructo? Para dar respuesta a estas preguntas, este artículo discute los antecedentes, las conceptualizaciones, enfoques y teorías en base a las cuales se ha construido el concepto. Se ha encontrado que en la conceptualización ha predominado el enfoque instrumentalista de eficiencia social, aunque sea de manera subyacente, frente a un enfoque de re-construccionismo social que suele aparecer en primer plano y que en muchas ocasiones la competencia global y la competencia intercultural se utilizan indistintamente debido al gran peso que esta última aporta en la competencia global, aunque la tendencia a nivel internacional es adoptar el uso de competencia global por ser más integral para afrontar los desafíos de la globalización. Por último, se destaca que existen desafíos y limitaciones conceptuales y de medición que dificultan comparar a nivel internacional e intercultural la adquisición de esta competencia y que requieren por tanto de más estudios que investiguen sistemáticamente la construcción del concepto, su desarrollo y medición.
A competência global ganhou destaque a partir de sua inclusão no PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) 2018 e é o resultado de diferentes modelos de educação global que permitirá aos estudantes enfrentar os desafios da globalização. Para isso, é necessária uma formação do professorado nesta competência e em seu ensino. Este estudo procura saber: a) o que entendemos por docentes globalmente competentes? b) como podemos melhorar esta competência? e c) como podemos avaliá-la? Através de uma revisão sistemática, 35 estudos foram compilados das bases de dados Scopus, Eric, e Web of Science. A análise mostra que a competência pedagógica global envolve dois aspectos: a competência pessoal e a competência pedagógica. Por sua vez, fornece vários programas de formação docente e diferentes metodologias e instrumentos para a sua avaliação, mas nenhum deles em espanhol. Oferecer experiências múltiplas e cumulativas em programas de formação de professores melhora a competência global do professorado, a reflexão crítica é essencial, e as parcerias com organizações comunitárias locais e internacionais são uma forma de contornar as limitações das experiências no estrangeiro.
Esta guía didáctica acompaña a la exposición que la Coordinadora de Organizaciones de Desarrollo de Castilla y León ha diseñado para lograr un conocimiento más profundo de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible por parte de la ciudadanía de Burgos, destacando la importancia de su implicación en la consecución de la Agenda 2030. Esta guía es por tanto una herramienta para educadores tanto de centros educativos, como de ONGDs, que quieran educar en la ciudadanía global a los estudiantes de secundaria, a través distintas actividades en torno a la información de la exposición referida a cada objetivo. La metodología activa, participativa y cooperativa que propone esta guía pretende desarrollar conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes que les permitan examinar y comprender problemáticas globales y actuar localmente a favor del bienestar colectivo y el desarrollo sostenible.
