ResumenEste trabajo estudia la presencia del libro llamado Llibre de la Çuna e Xara, por el que se regían las aljamas musulmanas valencianas durante la Edad Media, en dos bibliotecas valencianas dispares. Una la del noble Ferran Ximénez d'Arenós, señor de Alberic, y la otra de Joan Lopiç, párroco de Silla. En la primera obedece a una mejor ejecución de la jurisdicción civil y criminal entre sus vasallos musulmanes, en la segunda para conseguir una evangelización efectiva de esa población musulmana. AbstractThis article analyzes the presence of book denominated Llibre de la Çuna e Xara in two Valencian libraries. Muslims are governed by all laws and rules of that book during Medieval Age in the Kingdom of Valencia. Both libraries belong to different persons, one belonged to noble Ferran Ximénez d'Arenós, landlord of Alberic, to govern better his Muslim vassals, and the other one belonged to priest Joan Lopiç, parson of Silla, to evangelize them.
RESUMENA partir del inventario post mortem de los libros de Pere Dorchal, sacerdote beneficiado en la catedral de Valencia, datado en 1419, se estudia la composición de la biblioteca de un predicador. ABSTRACTThis article analyses the library of Pere Dorchal, a priest at the Cathedral of Valencia (Spain), focusing on the post mortem inventory of his collection (1419). An analysis is conducted of its content, a paradigm of the preaching library, and his life is reconstructed.
