A sífilis ainda é um grave problema de saúde pública no Brasil, principalmente, quando atinge mulheres grávidas, necessitando de intervenção imediata para reduzir a possibilidade de transmissão vertical e suas complicações. Com a pandemia, observou-se um aumento nos casos de gestantes com sífilis na UBS Genésio Ramos Filho. Nessa perspectiva, o presente estudo teve como objetivo conhecer e avaliar o manejo e a percepção dos profissionais da saúde diante de mulheres gestantes portadoras de sífilis, bem como o acompanhamento dos parceiros. Trata-se de uma pesquisa transversal do tipo analítica-descritiva que será executada no Centro de Saúde Genésio Ramos Filho que está localizado na Rua Coronel Vieira, no bairro Cohab Anil IV, no município de São Luís – Maranhão, no período março de 2022 sendo finalizada em maio do mesmo ano. A coleta de dados foi feita por meio de entrevista semiestruturada focalizada, em que a amostragem foram os profissionais de saúde da unidade. Como resultado observou-se que as respostas do médico foram mais curtas e diretas, enquanto a enfermeira respondeu os questionamentos de maneira mais elaborada. Portanto, vimos que é de suma importância termos uma constante campanha educacional e de conscientização sobre sífilis para todas as pessoas, dando uma ênfase ainda maior para o sexo masculino, haja visto a dificuldade de conseguirmos a presença dos mesmos em palestras, campanhas e até mesmo no acompanhamento médico de suas parceiras Palavras-chave: Sífilis.
