A 14-year-old white female patient with allergic rhinitis, reported a 4-week history of pruritic, lichenoid and erythematous papules and plaques involving first cervical region and after throughout the body. The histopathology was indicative of Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Laboratory and imaging tests showed no impairment of other organs. Lesions regressed after oral prednisone for 2 months. Currently, the patient remains asymptomatic without medication. We highlight the rarity of this disease and the importance of its early recognition. It is extremely important to maintain periodic follow-up to evaluate possible recurrences.
