This study explored the organizational culture, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the faculty membersof the St. Paul University System (SPUS). This study employed a descriptive and correlational research design. Thedata gathered were analyzed and interpreted using frequency and percentage distribution to confirm statisticalassumptions and to describe the participants' profile in terms of the identified variables. The weighted mean was usedto interpret the responses obtained from the use of the Likert's scale. The regression analysis was used to determine thebest predictors of job satisfaction and organizational commitment while Pearson and Chi-Square were used todetermine the degree of relationship between the variables. The results of this study indicate that there is a significantpositive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational culture. It was also found out that job satisfactionpredicts organizational commitment.
This study explored on the pre-service teaching performance of the students of St. Paul University Philippines. To achieve this purpose data were obtained using a tool in evaluating classroom instruction among student-teachers. Data were analyzed using weighted mean and T-test for independent samples. The pre-service teachers’ performance was categorized into three areas namely; as a teacher, handling students’ class participation and other observations related to teaching. Results revealed that the performance of the pre-service teachers was generally Very Good. However, their choice and expression of words, ability to answer questions, ability to connect material to the broader aspect of the subject and their technique in asking questions were rated as Good. T-test results reveal that there is no significant difference in the teaching performance of the pre-service teachers when grouped according to gender and program of study. The research was also guided by an open-ended question to identify the weaknesses of the pre-service teachers. The weaknesses were identified such as: art of questioning, use of creative slide presentations, introducing reinforcement activities and handling students’ misbehavior. The result of this study will be a basis for introducing initiatives to improve the Teacher Education Program to lead pre-service teachers to become globally competent.

This study explores the extent of the performance of the pre-service teachers as they engaged themselves in actual teaching. It further investigates on what are the highlighted experiences as they performed their responsibilities as pre-service teachers. A mixed-method was utilized to gather pertinent data. The quantitative research method, with the use of a survey questionnaire, was adopted to rate the pre-service teachers' teaching performance. The raters were the teachers who directly supervised the pre-service teachers. Frequency and percentage distribution were used to confirm statistical assumptions for the background variables of the participants. The weighted mean was utilized to interpret the obtained responses using a 5-point Likert scale. Moreover, a qualitative research method through documentary analysis was used to examine the personal experiences of the pre-service teachers. Open-ended questions were asked from them. The theoretical framework used in this study is anchored on Kolb's experiential learning theory. Results reveal that the pre-service teachers' performance was rated from very good to excellent. The narrative essays of the pre-service teachers disclose their triumphs and trials. The themes that emerged from their essays include self-efficacy, character building, classroom management, and the production of teaching resources. The data gathered provided validation and a solid foundation for drawing out conclusions of this study. The results will aid future pre-service teachers to face with confidence of the challenges of actual teaching. Moreover, this study will be a basis in formulating initiatives to improve the Teacher Education Program of St. Paul University Philippines. Implications and directions for future research are likewise discussed.
In this article, I reviewed the passage of the Prodigal Son in the context of the Lukan perspective and the reader then, is referred to Luke 15: 11-31. This parable gives us an image of a loving and forgiving God whose mercy endures forever. This is the greatest love story which presents the depths of God’s love. Several biblical scholars disclose that this parable guides us to new hope by allowing God to love, forgive us and accept his saving love.
The present study focuses on gathering a real-time data on the employability of graduates. The web-based Dynamic Alumni Monitoring with Decision Support System is developed and linked to the institution’s website to gather alumni information. To realize the objective of this study, the agile method research design process is utilized. The agile methodology is a project management technique in software development process. The system has the capacity to monitor the graduates. It provides alumni verifications and confirmation after the pre-registration. The system has a platform in maintaining alumni data and notifications to periodically update the graduates’ profiles anytime and anywhere. The system has the capacity to make updates concerning alumni activities of the University. These are sent through their registered email addresses. Likewise, the system generates important reports needed by the school and its administrators.
