La agricultura ecológica, practicada actualmente en la mayoría de los países del mundo, aparece, durante los últimos años, como uno de los instrumentos de mayor relevancia para el fomento del desarrollo rural. Su presencia es cada vez mayor en la formulación de las políticas agrarias de la Unión Europea, y el apoyo normativo y económico ha sido un factor importante en muchos países de la UE. La agricultura ecológica en las comunidades autónomas de España ha experimentado un fuerte crecimiento, que se ha convertido en los últimos años en una de las principales actividades impulsoras del desarrollo rural sostenible. El objetivo de este trabajo es descubrir los factores que impulsan y limitan el desarrollo de la agricultura ecológica, por meio de una análisis de la evolución y comportamiento de la misma.
Segundo a CONAQ (Coordenação Nacional de Comunidades Quilombolas) no Brasil existem cerca de 130 mil famílias quilombolas, sendo que a maior parte ainda vivem em áreas rurais, visto que o nascimento dos quilombos foi uma escapatória encontradas pelos negros para conseguir esquivar-se da escravidão. No momento presente, essas comunidades abrem espaços para resistência e manutenção da cultura negra tendo sua sobrevivência ligada à liderança de mulheres negras. Assim, o presente estudo se propõe a identificar o papel da mulher negra empreendedora no assentamento Dandara dos Palmares na Cidade de Camamu, estado da Bahia, onde um grupo de mulheres auto intituladas quilombolas vem fazendo história a mais 19 anos, trazendo como referência o nome de Maria Andrelice Silva dos Santos, exemplo de liderança feminina nas comunidades rurais e quilombolas da região. Expostas a diversas formas de violência, tendo que lutar para garantir o sustento, as assentadas no Dandara auxiliam a mais de 65 famílias apoiadas na própria produção agrícola. Esse grupo de mulheres são afetadas diretamente pelos conflitos territoriais, e pela suspensão dos seus direitos impactando fortemente com o desenvolvimento social. Entretanto, criaram estratégias de resistência possibilitando a continuidade dessa comunidade, que notadamente se destaca pelo protagonismo feminino e negro.
