La reflexión teórico-metodológica y profesional en torno a los distintos roles y naturaleza de los liderazgos organizacionales ha cobrado inusitada vigencia en la transición del mundo sólido a líquido. Dicha mutación está obligando a los líderes organizacionales a desafiar su mirada frente a las nuevas cartografías de procesos y sujetos entramados en condiciones espacio-temporales específicas, a partir de la perspectiva unidireccional de orden/desorden. Por ello, se debe repensar la gestión estratégica organizacional. El objetivo de este artículo es desarrollar una investigación teórica-crítica, que desde un enfoque cualitativo, basado en la revisión interdisciplinaria de literatura y varias aproximaciones empíricas, propone un nuevo locus epistémico y analítico, que apunta a pensar de otra manera los liderazgos organizacionales —reflexividad—, sus nuevos desafíos, el deber ético y responsabilidad social, para la construcción de distintos escenarios, comprometidos con el desarrollo integral de nuestra región. Los hallazgos muestran un tímido florecimiento de líneas analíticas de este tipo de liderazgo y el requerimiento de un mayor esfuerzo académico e investigativo para salir de corsé del paradigma lineal. Se concluye en la necesidad de navegar, sin desconcierto, en medio de condiciones de orden/desorden; libertad /control; proacción/reacción; conflictividad/consenso, como estrategia innovativa para pensar y construir conocimiento de alto valor, en apoyo a la toma de decisiones para la gestión organizacional.

Esta afirmación se encuentra claramente justificada en los argumentos expuestos por cada uno de los capítulos de esta compilación dedicada a la educación superior- Los capítulos se han organizado en cuatro partes según abordaje temático para dar comprensión y unidad conceptual al documento.

Es aún limitada la producción de literatura regional en torno a las perspectivas teórico-metodológicas de inteligencia crítica y particularmente de los dispositivos para la escritura de las amenazas a la seguridad de los Estados y otros actores, así como de sus implicaciones. De hecho, en la región no se ha trabajado en torno a las prácticas semiótico-discursivas que develen la ideologización mítica de las amenazas a la seguridad. Así, este trabajo, desde una metodología centrada en la reflexión crítica semiótico-prospectiva, se orienta a la comprensión de los sentidos de la amenaza que derivaron de la denominación de Fénix en las operaciones militares cumplidas en Vietnam en 1968-1972, El Salvador en 1981-1992 y Colombia en 2008. La línea teórica cruza las reflexiones de Ken Booth con algunos elementos propuestos por la semiótica de la cultura de Yuri Lotman. Los hallazgos muestran la instrumentación ideológica del mito del ave fénix como estrategia discursiva para la legitimación del empleo de medios militares e inteligencia en dichas operaciones contrainsurgentes. Se concluye en la necesidad de construir modalidades analíticas flexibles y adaptables, con una clara orientación prospectiva, para develar la materialidad ideológica y mítica de las operaciones militares y sus implicaciones para el largo plazo, reconociendo que, al incursionar en un ámbito analítico floreciente, quedarán algunos elementos por ser profundizados.
