Introdução: As pessoas com deficiência (PcD) visual são, geralmente, excluídas do convívio social, como no contexto escolar, pois se nota uma lacuna de recursos no âmbito educacional para essas pessoas. Sendo assim, objetivando impulsionar este debate, foi realizado um webinário que trabalhou com recursos pedagógicos que visam garantir e legitimar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem deste segmento social. A audiodescrição (AD) foi um destes recursos trabalhados e se caracteriza pela tradução do visual para o escrito com finalidade de promover o acesso de PcD visual, ou com outras especificidades, em ambientes, como nos cinemas, teatros, e escolas, garantindo acessibilidade comunicacional. Assim, entendemos que a extensão universitária pode ser um dos dispositivos que propiciam tais aprendizados e discussões temáticas para além do contexto acadêmico. Objetivos: Apresentar a importância da AD e suas utilidades. Como objetivos específicos: evidenciar a relevância do processo de inclusão social das PcD visual no contexto escolar; e promover reflexões sobre o processo de ensinoaprendizagem das PcD visual. Material e métodos: O webinário foi desenvolvido pelo Programa de Educação Tutorial Gestão Política-pedagógica (PET-GPP) e, devido à pandemia da COVID-19, aconteceu através da plataforma Google Meet, destinando-se ao público interno e externo à universidade. Partiu-se do diálogo e da própria exposição de imagens dos recursos pedagógicos como, por exemplo, da AD, Braille, entre outros. Para a produção e abordagem do conteúdo, foi utilizado computador, internet, e slides, além da apresentação técnica por uma facilitadora externa ao PET-GPP. Resultados: A atividade contou com a participação síncrona de 16 pessoas, com duração de 2h e a gravação disponibilizada posteriormente no canal do Youtube do PET-GPP. Pode-se notar a necessidade destas discussões nos ambientes educacionais e isto faz com que novas inquietações surjam potencializando novas ações e projetos. Conclusão: Entende-se, portanto, que os recursos pedagógicos, como a AD, apresentam um importante papel para democratizar a participação ativa dos diversos agentes sociais no processo de inclusão. Compreender o processo de inclusão de PcD também passa pela responsabilidade de pessoas sem deficiência e repensar estes papéis no processo de inclusão é primordial.
