RESUMO:Este estudo se propõe a conhecer os significados do encarceramento, bem como as estratégias de enfrentamento com ênfase na resiliência. A metodologia baseiase na abordagem qualitativa à luz da técnica de História Oral Temática. As falas revelam a prisão enquanto processo de 'mutilação do eu' . A morte civil, a substituição do convívio familiar, o vazio de ordem emocional e material, e a ausência da autonomia caracterizam o significado do cárcere. As estratégias de enfrentamento com resiliência dentro do cotidiano prisional foram a fé, o amor aos filhos, o trabalho, a música e a espera pela liberdade. É preciso que a prisão se comporte para além do caráter punitivo e proporcione cuidados especializados à mulher encarcerada. PALAVRAS-CHAVE:Mulheres; Prisões; Resiliência Psicológica. Community Integrative Therapy (CIT) has emerged as a strategy to support the mental health of users of the public Unified Health System (SUS). This study had the objective to identify the principal problems presented by patients of group therapy, and to identify strategies that they use to cope with situations that cause emotional suffering. Secondary research carried out at the Municipal Secretary of Health, with information sources being organization forms with data from CIT. The results demonstrate that the most frequent problem [cause of suffering] is stress, the coping strategy most used is spirituality, and through the discourses of the participants it is possible to perceive the positive perception that they have of the meetings. CIT is a space where the relationships that are forged transmit emotional support, strengthen ties and diminish cases of social exclusion.Descriptors: Mental health. Primary health care. Health-illness process. RESUMO A Terapia Comunitária Integrativa (TCI) surge como uma estratégia de apoio à saúde mental dos usuários do Sistema Único de Saúde. O estudo tem como objetivo identificar os principais problemas apresentados pelos usuários da terapia comunitária e identificar as estratégias que utilizam no enfrentamento das situações que provocam sofrimento emocional. Pesquisa do tipo documental realizada na Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, tendo como fontes de informações fichas de organização de dados da TCI. Os resultados demonstraram que o problema mais frequente é o estresse, que a estratégia de enfrentamento mais utilizada é a espiritualidade, e que através dos discursos dos participantes é possível perceber a opinião positiva que eles têm dos encontros. A TCI é um espaço onde as relações construídas transmitem apoio emocional, fortalecem vínculos e diminuem os casos de exclusão social. Descritores

The white clam Spisula solida is harvested along the entire coast of Portugal using mechanical dredges. In this study, the total direct mortality of the macrobenthic community caused by three types of clam dredges (north dredge—ND, traditional dredge—TD, and the metallic grid dredge—GD) used in the S. solida fishery was determined and compared. The relationship between mortality and catching efficiency for each type of dredge was also assessed. Our results showed significant differences for total direct mortality between the ND and both the GD and TD dredges. This difference was largely attributed to the mortality of animals that died in the dredge track as a direct result of the physical damage inflicted by the dredge passing. It was also found that the damage to uncaught individuals is directly related to gear efficiency. The lower catching efficiency of the ND (64%) led to a higher proportion of damaged individuals being left in the dredge path, when compared with the more efficient GD (98%) and TD (90%) dredges. Short and long-term implications of the impact of dredging on the composition of benthic communities are discussed. From fisheries management and ecological points of view, there are obvious advantages to introduce into the bivalve dredge fisheries more efficient and selective dredges in order to reduce the number of damaged individuals and by-catch, and consequently decreasing the impact on the macrobenthic communities.

Na contemporaneidade, a mulher tem exercido uma diversidade de papéis culturais, seja como cuidadora e mantenedora do lar, ou como empresária administradora e provedora de serviços. O processo saúde doença da mulher é marcado por situações de sofrimento caracterizado pelo estresse constante, independente do papel que ela ocupa socialmente. Experiências da Terapia Comunitária, com mulheres tem sido uma estratégia adotada pelas equipes de saúde da família para enfrentar sofrimentos emocionais originados no cotidiano. O objetivo deste estudo foi conhecer as contribuições da Terapia Comunitária no cuidado com mulheres usuárias dos serviços da Estratégia saúde da Família. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório realizado no município de Vila Flor, Rio Grande do Norte, com 13 mulheres que participaram das rodas de terapia, durante o período de maio a agosto de 2008. O material empírico foi produzido por meio entrevistas seguido da análise dos discursos. Os dados permitem a afirmação de que as mulheres ao compartilharem seus problemas receberam apoio do grupo, refletindo no alívio do sentimento de dor que estava associado à perda de pessoas  queridas. Pode-se inferir que os encontros promoveram o resgate do atributo resiliente, contribuindo para empoderamento, intensificando a autonomia e auto-estima, fortalecendo vínculos familiares, sociais, comunitários e espirituais.

This study aims to show signs of emotional distress experienced by mothers of children with disabilities. Comprehensive and interpretative study, conducted in the city of Timbaúba/Pernambuco/Brazil, with six mothers of children with disabilities. The empirical material was produced by interviews, following the premises of the Oral History proposed by Bom Meihy and then interpreted in the light of the thematic analysis technique. The mothers' narratives are marked by feelings of ambiguity, neglect, sadness, denial, guilt, self-pity, self-contempt and frustrations. The stories revealed that mothers have the power to overcome and are able to adapt themselves to the experience of taking care of a disabled child. The narratives provided reflections on the complexity of being a mother, in particular, the issue of disability, suggesting the need for multidisciplinary actions aimed at personal empowerment and autonomy in caring for a child, with a view to the child's rehabilitation and inclusion in society.

This paper had the aim to checking the association between the intensity of climacteric symptoms and the pattern of sexual performance of women in this period of the life cycle. A transversal study conducted from July to September 2011 involving 260 climateric women of a physical exercise program. The women were evaluated using the Kupperman Menopausal Index and of the Sexual Quotient. For statistical analysis, there were used: average, standard deviation, percentages and Fisher Exact Test. The women with sexual performance standard good/excellent, mostly, reported mild symptoms in Menopausal Index, and those who had a bad pattern/unfavorable, had high percentages of moderate and severe manifestations. Symptoms of mild intensity were associated with a higher standard of sexual performance, showing that changes in this pattern have strong relationship with the intensity of symptoms. CLIMATÉRIO: A INTENSIDADE DOS SINTOMAS E O DESEMPENHO SEXUALRESUMO: O presente estudo objetivou verificar a associação entre a intensidade dos sintomas no climatério e o padrão de desempenho sexual de mulheres neste período do ciclo vital. Estudo transversal, realizado de julho a setembro de 2011, envolvendo 260 mulheres no climatério de um programa de atividade física. As mulheres foram avaliadas por meio do Índice Menopausal de Kupperman e do Quociente Sexual. Para análise estatística utilizou-se: média, desvio-padrão, porcentagens e Teste Exato de Fisher. As mulheres com padrão de desempenho sexual bom/excelente, em sua maioria, referiram apresentar sintomas leves na escala menopausal, e as que apresentaram um padrão ruim/desfavorável, tinham altos percentuais de manifestações moderadas e intensas. Os sintomas de intensidade leve estiveram associados a um melhor padrão de desempenho sexual, presumindo-se que alterações neste padrão tem forte relação com a intensidade dos sintomas. Estudio transversal realizado entre julio y septiembre de 2011 con la participación 260 mujeres de un programa de actividad física que se encontraban en el climaterio. Se evaluaron las mujeres con el índice menopáusico Kupperman y Cociente Sexual. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó: el promedio, la desviación estándar, los porcentajes y la Prueba Exacta de Fisher. Las mujeres con estándar de desempeño sexual bueno/excelente, mayoritariamente, reportaron síntomas leves en el índice menopáusico, y las que tenían un patrón malo/desfavorable tuvieron tasas altas de manifestaciones moderadas y graves.
