This study aims to identify the main corporate governance (CG), corporate social responsibility (CSR) in an Institution of Higher Education – IHE Federal, through content analysis, interviews with key actors of the organization and his views about this. The methodology used to collect information will be of semi-structured interview, recorded by audio recording and verbatim transcription, with appropriate reading and approval of respondents for the use of its contents in the article presented here. The main results on the CG and the legitimacy, credibility and reliability are present in the institution. Indeed, according to the statements of the respondent we find the integration of management, decision processes that stands for quality and excellence in public education and free. The results relative to CSR found that the IHE study has no formal institutional policies, oriented to the community. Even so, the perception is that the IHE is moving in this direction and believes that institutions do not react proactively in relation to social issues, will be charged by the society itself
Resumo: Este estudo tem por objetivo sistematizar o conhecimento científico produzido por pesquisadores e publicado em periódicos científicos brasileiros de turismo, sobre a história dos meios de hospedagem no Brasil. A metodologia utilizada caracteriza-se como descritiva e bibliográfica. Foram analisados 16 periódicos científicos de turismo brasileiros, classificados pela CAPES em 2014 e realizado um levantamento dos títulos, palavras-chave e resumos dos artigos junto aos sites das revistas. As publicações são dos anos de 1990 até 2016. Foram identificados 244 artigos sobre meios de hospedagem e/ou hotelaria e, destes, 16 (6,6%) abordam a história dos meios de hospedagem de modo geral ou especificamente sobre um deles. Os artigos foram publicados em 8 revistas, principalmente após o ano de 2006, não havendo uma predominância de autor. O período mais abordado nos artigos é o século XIX, destacando-se as regiões Sul e Sudeste como as mais estudadas. Desse modo, evidencia-se a carência de publicações relacionadas à história dos meios de hospedagem no Brasil e a necessidade de incentivar a realização de pesquisas e a produção de novos conhecimentos que abordem esta temática. Resumo: Este artigo tem como objetivo problematizar o "Dia do Patrimônio" na cidade de Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, como um ato de hospitalidade, possibilitando a interação da comunidade com o seu patrimônio cultural material e imaterial. O "Dia do Patrimônio" é um evento anual que acontece na cidade desde o ano de 2013. É organizado pela Secretaria Municipal de Cultura (SECULT) e tem o propósito de aproximar a comunidade do patrimônio cultural da cidade. O trabalho configura-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa, baseada nas seguintes fontes: sites; revistas do Dia do Patrimônio elaboradas pela Secretaria Municipal de Cultura de Pelotas-SECULT em parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal de Pelotas; e duas entrevistas com colaboradoras da SECULT na época da criação do evento. Ressalta-se que o "Dia do Patrimônio" é um ato de hospitalidade, um evento que possibilita relações interpessoais, relações de convivência, sociabilidade e alteridade na cidade de Pelotas. O evento proporciona aos moradores e turistas descobrir, tomar consciência e valorizar as riquezas, sejam materiais ou imateriais, possibilitando repensar o patrimônio e sua diversidade na cidade de Pelotas.
