ABSTRACT Microphytoplankton Seasonal Variation at the Marine Municipal Park ofParipueira, AL Studies were developed viewing the determination of the micropkankton composition at the Parque municipal Marinho of Paripueira/AL (Lat.9°22'50"-9°30'00" S and Long.35°36'14"-35°30'00"). Horizontal surface hauls were carried out through the use of a plankton net mesh size of 45 µm every three hour between 6:00 am and 6:00 p.m. at the rainy, intermediary and dry period. It was identified 78 phytoplankton taxa distributed over the following divisions: Chrysophytas( diatoms), Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Euglenophyta and Pyrrophyta. The diatoms were qualitatively more representative. The species Coscinodiscus lineatus, Climascophenia moniligera and Licmophora sp. were more relevant because they showed a frequency of 100% at the three collecting periods. It was not observed any dominant species but there was a greater relative abundance of Campyloneis grevillei (28,4%) at the intermediary condition of rainfall.
