Burns are injuries caused by direct or indirect contact to chemical, physical, or biological agents. Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a promising treatment since it is low-cost, non-invasive, and induces cell proliferation. This study aimed to investigate the effects of LLLT (660 nm) at two different fluences (12.5 J/cm(2) and 25 J/cm(2) ) per point of application on third-degree burns in rats. Thirty rats (Wistar) divided into GC, GL12.5, and GL25 were used in the study, and submitted to burn injury through a soldering iron at 150°C, pressed on their back for 10 s. LLLT was applied immediately, and 2, 4, 6, and 8 days after wound induction. Histological analysis revealed a decreased inflammatory infiltrate in the group treated with 25 J/cm(2) , and intense inflammatory infiltrate in the control group and in the group treated with 12.5 J/cm(2) . The immunostaining of COX-2 was more intense in the control groups and in the group treated with 12.5 J/cm(2) than in the group treated with 25 J/cm(2) . Conversely, VEGF immunomarking was more expressive in the group treated with 25 J/cm(2) than it was in the other two groups. Therefore, our findings suggest that the use of 25 J/cm(2) and 1 J of energy was more effective in stimulating the cellular processes involved in tissue repair on third-degree burns in rats by reducing the inflammatory phase, and stimulating angiogenesis, thus restoring the local microcirculation which is essential for cell migration.
The study was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach, and 6 Physical Education classes observed. Six sets of field notes were developed, and the content analysis was conducted via phenomenology, in the situated phenomenon mode. Three categories emerged from the nomothetic matrix: A) “If it would be better to watch the game, paying attention to everything, or to play”; B) “Last match I started with the ball, now you start”; C) “But if I ask you to stop, you have to stop, did you understand?”. The results showed that the girls assumed decisive roles in the development of the practice of Fútbol Callejero, showing solidarity and sorority; however, there was still some reduction in girls' participation. Keywords: Fútbol Callejero.

Burns are cutaneous lesions that present high rate of morbidity and mortality worldwide. In order to innovate the treatment strategies currently applied new biomaterials are being investigated. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the action of bacterial cellulose in both membrane and gel form, in the treatment of third degree burns in rats. For this, 24 Wistar rats were used, divided into three distinct groups. The lesion was performed with the aid of a soldering iron heated at 150 °C pressed on the back of the animal for 10 seconds. Treatment was performed immediately after wound induction, and skin samples were collected on the tenth day post-injury. Statistical analysis was performed using a significance level of 5% (p≤0.05). The histological results show differences in the healing process presented by each group. The group that received bacterial cellulose in the membrane format presented the best results, such as discrete inflammatory infiltrate and better morphological quality of the tissue, characterizing an advanced stage of the healing process, also proven in the collagen quantitative analysis. On the other hand, the group that received the cellulose gel showed characteristics of an inflammatory phase with the presence of evident ulcerations, which corresponds to a delay in the healing process even when compared to CG alone. Thus, it was concluded that before the biomaterials tested cellulose membrane in the format presented more favorable results both in terms of environmental protection as a contribution to an adequate tissue recovery.
