Neste artigo apresentamos a análise dos trabalhos publicados na linha temática Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (CTS) nos anais dos Encontros Nacionais de Ensino de Química (ENEQs), no período de 2012 a 2018. Esse trabalho é do tipo bibliográfico e tem por objetivo identificar as propostas dos trabalhos com abordagem CTS para o Ensino de Química, e desta forma, levantar as atuais tendências relacionadas a esta temática. Observou-se um número crescente de publicações nesta linha durante o decorrer dos Encontros, evidenciando a Abordagem CTS como campo de pesquisa promissor na área de Ensino de Química. Por meio das categorias estabelecidas, foi possível identificar que a abordagem CTS em sala de aula está cada vez mais presente e alcança diferentes níveis de ensino, desde o ensino médio até os cursos de formação de professores. Verificou-se que os professores da Educação Básica se mostram cada vez mais engajados à abordagem CTS, sinalizando a articulação entre Universidade-Escola. A análise evidenciou que Wildson Luís Pereira dos Santos é o principal referencial teórico utilizado nas publicações CTS dos ENEQs, citado em 94% dos trabalhos no período analisado.
