Pelatihan Pendampingan Konflik pada Anak dilakukan di Kampung Tambak Mulyo yang merupakan Daerah dampingan Lembaga Pendamping Usaha Buruh Tani dan Nelayan Keuskupan Agung Semarang (LPUBTN-KAS). Pelatihan ini diberikan untuk orangtua di Kampung Tambak Mulyo yang memiliki anak berusia 2 sampai dengan 12 tahun. Pelatihan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan kepada para orang tua agar dapat mendampingi anak yang sedang mengalami konflik. Pelatihan dilakukan secara luring dengan peserta berjumlah 22 orang ibu-ibu. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode psikoedukasi, diskusi kelompok dan role playing. Pelatihan ini dilakukan selama dua kali pertemuan dan diantara dua kali pertemuan tersebut ada tugas yang perlu dilakukan oleh peserta pelatihan, yaitu menerapkan cara-cara yang diberikan dalam materi pelatihan pada pertemuan pertama untuk didiskusikan dalam pertemuan pada pertemuan berikutnya. Secara keseluruhan diperoleh hasil bahwa peserta mendapatkan manfaat dari pelatihan
Rural residents find that moving out of the rural area into a city is compelling and considered as a lifetime achievement. As urbanization became popular to Indonesia as a developing country, the urbanicity effect is inevitable. This narrative review explains the psychological issues arose in urban society and the possible strategies arranged to prevent the urbanicity effect and promotes a healthy city. Human activity and the environment are two entities that affect one another simultaneously. By looking up to basic human needs from Abraham Maslow, the urban environment should meet the acceptable safety and security standards as perceived by the community. Second, the individuals’ tendency to behave in accordance with their identity is also considered in order to develop the urban identity. This article contributes to consider comprehensive countermeasure of urbanicity. Realization of the impact, benefits of being in nature, use of green spaces and social cohesion are some ways to improve a healthy urban city. Penduduk pedesaan menemukan bahwa pindah dari daerah pedesaan ke kota sangat menarik dan dianggap sebagai pencapaian seumur hidup. Ketika urbanisasi menjadi populer di Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang, efek urbanisasi tidak bisa dihindari. Tinjauan naratif ini menjelaskan masalah psikologis yang muncul dalam masyarakat perkotaan dan kemungkinan strategi yang diatur untuk mencegah efek urbanisitas dan mempromosikan kota yang sehat. Aktivitas manusia dan lingkungan adalah dua entitas yang saling mempengaruhi secara bersamaan. Dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan dasar manusia dari Abraham Maslow, lingkungan perkotaan harus memenuhi standar keselamatan dan keamanan yang dapat diterima seperti yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat. Kedua, kecenderungan individu untuk berperilaku sesuai dengan identitasnya juga dipertimbangkan untuk mengembangkan identitas urban. Artikel ini berkontribusi untuk mempertimbangkan penanggulangan urbanisasi yang komprehensif. Realisasi dampak, manfaat berada di alam, penggunaan ruang hijau dan kohesi sosial adalah beberapa cara untuk meningkatkan kota perkotaan yang sehat.
Values are essential in peoples’ lives, guiding individuals to think and take some actions. In the workplace, these values are closely related to people’s competence within their duties. As the future workforce generation, it is essential to capture the value possessed by the millennial generation. Therefore, this study investigates what millennials value most in their life. The data was collected using The Short Schwartz’s Value Survey to overview the intrinsic value that motivates people using a Likert scale (0-8). Ten values are measured: power, achievement, hedonism, stimulation, self-direction, universalism, benevolence, tradition, conformity, and security. This study involved millennial workers (N=123) who graduated varies from high school to postgraduate. Benevolence (47.97%) and conformity (47.15%) were considered fundamental values. Nevertheless, there are no differences in values between sex and years of service. Values of achievement (p=0.028) and self-direction (p=0.009) were found different between monthly salaries. Moreover, values of power (p=0.04) and conformity (p=0.03) were found between educational backgrounds. These findings imply significant differences in several values according to millennials’ income and educational background.
Entrepreneurship is an opportunity for individuals who want to have additional income apart from their regular job. Likewise, the condition of Credit Union Pangudi Luhur Kasih members who work as teachers, are expected that they can develop entrepreneurial abilities and increase their income apart from teaching. Some members who have started entrepreneurship often feel doubtful in running the business they have started, so they need to increase resilience and the business processes can be improved. Resilience webinar and group coaching with positive psychological approach will be carried out to increase the resilience of CU PLK enterpreneur members. The participants who attended the webinar were 25 people, the first coaching meeting was 8 people and the second meeting was 7 people. The lack of participants during coaching session occurred because after the webinar ended, many participants stated that they were not committed to participating in the training until the coaching session ends. However, from the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it appears that this training went well and received positive responses, although the results of the comparison of pre and post-test during the webinar showed that there was no significant change in knowledge. There was an increase in the participants' resilience scores after participating in weekly group coaching.
This study aimed to see whether the Fear of Covid-19 and work engagement affect the psychological distress of resident doctors. The pandemic situation of Covid-19 is not over yet with viral mutations from Covid-19 Delta to Omicron variants. Residents' doctors were obliged to help with treatment even though their main duty was focusing on their studies. As the Covid-19 is a deadly situation and should be handled with many safety protocols, this situation can be anxious for both the patient and the medical staff (including the residents) who work daily in the hospital. This study involved 877 medical residents. Work engagement was measured with Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), and psychological distress was measured with DASS-21. Regression analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were used as statistical methods. The results showed that both Fears of Covid-19 and work engagement affect psychological distress. This article also details the impact of each aspect measured in this study.
