l propósito central de este artículo es demostrar el denominado Teorema del Mapeo Computacional, bajo la perspectiva de la ingeniería de cómputo. Este se define como sigue:Teorema: La cantidad de direcciones absolutas del mapa de memoria de un procesador que son mapeadas es inequívocamente siempre más pequeña que la cantidad de direcciones absolutas a mapear.Para lograr lo anterior se propone una descripción asociativa entre los números algebraicos y los números trascendentes, y su significado en el direccionamiento de memoria en un mapeador. INTRODUCCIÓNEl campo de las matemáticas aplicadas ha seguido una tendencia en donde se establece un vínculo entre los entes abstractos y los fenómenos reales, el cual permite a los pragmá-ticos intuir problemas y soluciones específicos de la ingeniería de cóm-puto. La teoría general de Cantor sobre conjuntos permite concebir cómo descubrir e identificar que son los números algebraicos y que son los números trascendentes en el direccionamiento de memoria/puertos en un mapeador.Para conceptualizar el mapeo se emplea el concepto del término map del Inglés, cuya traducción libre en este caso es mapear. La palabra mapear sería un verbo del tipo transitivo cuyo significado es el denotativo de unir; se usa en dos puntos de vista para crear dos significados connotativos. Desde el punto de vista del software, mapear tiene la siguiente definición: Transferir un conjunto de objetos de un lugar a otro, en una relación posicional. Desde el hardware, tiene la siguiente definición: Relacionar una dirección o un conjunto de direcciones a través del direccionamiento del mapa de memoria de un procesador a una dirección o a un conjunto de direcciones de un dispositivo receptor. Así se da origen a un par de adjetivos: mapeado o mapeada; y también a dos sustantivos: mapeador y mapeo.En vista de lo anterior, se adjetivó a los sustantivos memoria y dirección para crear los términos compuestos memoria mapeada y dirección mapeada. Una memoria mapeada es una unidad de direccionamiento lógi-co usada por dos o más entidades computacionales, de tal modo que a través de un objeto lógico sólo una unidad computacional pueda usarla en un determinado momento. Una dirección mapeada es la dirección absoluta de una memoria mapeada, que ha sido relacionada con una dirección absoluta de un procesador.El término mapeador se refiere al objeto lógico que tiene la función de relacionar la memoria mapeada con un procesador. El mapeador también está localizado entre el procesador y la memoria mapeada. La circunstancia que se origina en esta correspondencia cuando el mapeador está actuando sobre la memoria mapeada es lo que se llama mapeo. Intrínseca-mente la técnica del mapeo es una actividad de direccionamiento sin colisiones.La idea básica es llevar la relación entre las direcciones absolutas y las direcciones mapeadas a una analogía con un segmento de recta, definido en el plano cartesiano.
