This study aimed to investigate how the subject of the precocious work is contemplated in policies dedicated to workers' health in Natal. Reports of the Nucleus of Workers' Health of the Municipal Health Secretary were surveyed and semi-structured interviews performed with technicians of such Nucleus and of Program of Workers' Health. Great difficulties were verified for the materialization of the Program of the Worher's Health (PWH), mainly due to the lack of commitment of local political authorities. It is a theme that now seems to have been silenced. Professionals, previously involved, are not willing to act in the area anymore or even to speak about it. The theme of the health of precocious workers has received the same silence; policies and interventions in the area of workers' health have ignored this special kind of worker.
