<p style="text-align: justify;">El Síndrome de Down constituye una alteración congénita caracterizada por la presencia de un cromosoma extra en el par 21, de aquí que se denomine también Trisomía 21. Las personas que la padecen se distinguen por sus rasgos físicos y retraso mental que solo se manifiestan en este síndrome. Desde hace algunos años la realidad mundial de estos niños se ha modificado considerablemente al implementarse estrategias de tratamiento de estimulación temprana desde el nacimiento, ampliando así las oportunidades y brindando medios para su inserción social. En Jipijapa se ha comprobado la falta de información de los padres de familia sobre los programas de estimulación temprana a los niños con síndrome Down, provocando un retraso mayor en el desarrollo de su motricidad. El objetivo de la investigación estuvo encaminado a determinar los factores que influyen en el desarrollo de las habilidades psicomotrices en los niños con síndrome de Down que asisten a la escuela Ana Luz Solís, para ello se aplicaron encuestas a 34 padres de familia y entrevistas a especialistas de la temática. Se identificó como principal factor el desconocimiento de los padres sobre la importancia del desarrollo de actividades físicas como parte de la estimulación temprana para el desarrollo psicomotor de sus hijos. Además se constató que no existe una guía que le permita al padre de familia conocer las diferentes actividades que desde casa contribuyan al aprendizaje y desarrollo de su niño, por lo que se propone crear un manual de estimulación temprana para padres de niños con síndrome de Down.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Las condiciones ambientales y la leishmaniasis ocasionan un problema de salud pública, una alteración de los factores ambientales posibilitan la transmisión del agente causal que conlleva a contraer esta enfermedad; el campo que se realizó esta investigación es en el área de la enfermería desde la perspectiva de epidemiologia mediante un estudio de tipo descriptivo no experimental y transversal, mediante análisis documental, a través de la base de datos proporcionados por el departamento de epidemiologia del Distrito de Salud N°13D03 del Centro de Salud Jipijapa, así también los métodos de investigación como las encuestas aplicadas a los 44 pacientes que contrajeron la enfermedad. El presente estudio surge ante la presencia de casos de leishmaniasis y su relación con la alteración de factores ambientales; cuyo objetivo principal fue determinar las condiciones ambientales y leishmaniasis en el Cantón Jipijapa y según el análisis de metodología, la alteración climática, falta de conocimiento sobre leishmania, prevención de la misma y riesgos en la población de padecer esta zoonosis. Mediante los instrumentos aplicados se concluye que la mayoría de los pacientes que fueron diagnosticados positivos presenta un nivel de conocimiento bajo sobre la enfermedad y las medidas de prevención adecuadas, en el que las alteraciones ambientales tienen una gran influencia e interacción directa a la propagación de esta patología, puesto que favoreció la reproducción de vectores en especial del genero lutzomyia facilitando así la transmisión de leishmaniasis.</p>
