As informações disponíveis acerca da situação de saúde e doença da população indígena no Ceará demonstram o desenvolvimento do processo de sindemia. Relaciona-se a situação de saúde às diretrizes da Política Nacional de Atenção à Saúde dos Povos Indígenas (PNASPI) para assegurar o Subsistema de Saúde Indígena (SasiSUS), articuladas indissociadamente, devem orientar a definição dos instrumentos de planejamento, implementação, avaliação e controle das ações de atenção à saúde dos povos indígenas estão: a organização dos serviços de atenção à saúde dos povos indígenas na forma de Distritos Sanitários Especiais Indígenas (DSEI) e Polos Base e o monitoramento das ações de saúde dirigidas aos povos indígenas. A análise dos indicadores de saúde poderá indicar percursos e desafios para o acompanhamento específico da saúde desses povos. Estudo ecológico transversal que descreve a organização e as principais informações de ações e serviços específicos prestados à população indígena através do Distrito Sanitário Especial Indígena do Ceará (DSEI-CE), segundo o Plano Distrital, relacionando ao contexto nacional e às diretrizes da Política Nacional de Atenção à Saúde dos Povos Indígenas, no quadriênio 2012 a 2015. Utilizou-se dados públicos e seguiu-se as diretrizes estabelecidas pela Comissão Nacional de Ética em Pesquisa, Resolução no 466/2012. A análise de indicadores e informações em saúde podem contribuir para o planejamento, monitoramento, avaliação e cuidado com os índios nos territórios.
