ResumoObjetivou-se identificar as espécies de abelhas visitantes florais da catingueira (Poincianella pyramidalis) e seus recursos coletados em área de Caatinga do Semiárido do Rio Grande do Norte. Os dados foram obtidos a partir de observações realizadas em dez dias não consecutivos entre os meses de maio e junho de 2015, no município de Alexandria. No espaço de tempo compreendido entre 7h00 às 17h10, verificou-se frequência, recursos coletados e horários de maior e menor visitação durante os dez primeiros minutos de cada hora. Os resultados adquiridos mostraram uma diferença estatística significativa (p < 0,05) entre os recursos coletados e os horários de coleta. Três espécies de abelhas visitaram as inflorescências da catingueira, sendo elas: Trigona cf. fuscipennis (57,88%), Xylocopa (Neoxylocopa) grisescens (38,20%) e Apis mellifera (3,92%). As abelhas visitantes florais apresentaram maior frequência de visitação na catingueira pela manhã, no período compreendido entre 7h00 e 11h10. A espécie T. fuscipennis foi a que apresentou o maior número de indivíduos presentes nas inflorescências de catingueira, enquanto que a abelha X. grisescens teve a segunda maior frequência de visitação, porém cessou suas atividades às 14h10. A espécie A. mellifera foi a que apresentou menor frequência de visitação. O néctar foi o recurso mais coletado, tendo sido observada sua oferta durante todo o período de observação. O pólen foi coletado principalmente nas primeiras horas do dia, estendendo-se até 9h10; T. fuscipennis não coletou pólen em nenhum dos horários avaliados. Conclui-se que a catingueira (P. pyramidalis) apresentou-se como importante fornecedora de recursos alimentares para abelhas na região do Semiárido potiguar, recomendando seu cultivo em áreas de melhoramento ambiental para criação e conservação de abelhas sem ferrão e solitárias

TheplotsconsistedofthefertilizationdoseswithKandPofsowing(0,50,100and150%oftherecommendeddose)andthesubplotsbytwospacingsbetweenplants(10and20cm).Thevariablesevaluatedwereinitialpopulation,finalpopulation,plantheight,grainmassperplant,numberofpodsperplant,podmassperplant,grainmassperpods,massof1000grainsandmassof100pods,podyield,grainyieldandpercentageofnon-commercialgrains.Theresultsshowedthatthedrysequeiroandirrigationsysteminfluencedtheproductionofpeanutsandfertilization inthenumberofpodsandthemassofpodsperplantweresignificant,obtainingthemaximumpointatdosesof82.58and80.37%,respectively.Thespacingof20cmincreasedgrainyieldbyplantsandthemassof1000grainsby10.77%and14.8%,respectively.
IntroduçãoO Semiárido brasileiro ocupa uma parcela relevante da Região Nordeste do Brasil, onde as adversidades ambientais provocam sérias limitações no processo produtivo das populações, particularmente daqueles que compõem o conjunto dos pequenos agricultores, que desenvolvem agricultura familiar (CARVALHO, 2003). Porém, a convivência com o semiárido sugere o desenvolvimento da região, valorizando as potencialidades do local, seus conhecimentos tradicionais, a produção e conservação dos recursos naturais como fatores de permanência desses agricultores na zona rural. Observa-se, na temática de fertilidade do solo, um potencial regional aceitável de nutrientes e uma razoável disponibilidade de água no local, em virtude de o cultivo predominar as margens de um açude: Açude Manuel Balbino, também conhecido como Açude dos Carneiros, Suas obras foram realizadas pelo Departamento Nacional de Obras Contra a Seca (DNOCS), sendo concluído em 1985. Sua capacidade é de 37.180.000 m³. Nesse contexto, implantar hortas agroecológicas visa produzir renda para os moradores, visto que, alimentos ecologicamente saudáveis promovem segurança alimentar, além de possuir diferenciação de valor no mercado. Esse estudo tem como objetivo demonstrar formas alternativas de convivência com o semiárido relatado pelos moradores da comunidade Z-60, açude dos carneiros, localizada no município de Juazeiro do Norte, CE, no decorrer do ano de 2016.
