A Pandemia de COVID-19 ocasionou diversos impactos ao redor do mundo e em março de 2020, devido a velocidade que o vírus se espalhou pelos continentes, para tentar conter o avanço foi criada a política de distanciamento social, responsável pela interrupção de inúmeras atividades, incluindo aulas presenciais. Assim, ampliou-se a busca por meios de ensino remoto, a fim de amenizar os prejuízos causados na educação. O estudo tem como objetivo geral analisar os entraves na utilização do ensino remoto para os acadêmicos de enfermagem durante a pandemia de COVID-19. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica do tipo revisão integrativa da literatura. Sete artigos foram incluídos nesta revisão, a maior parte apresentou abordagem qualitativa dos dados (71,4%). A base de dados CINAHL forneceu o maior número de estudos (71,4%). Todos os artigos concentraram-se no ano de 2021 e estavam na língua inglesa (100%); em que os Estados Unidos e Nepal foram os países com o maior número de publicações, com 28,6% cada. O periódico Nurse Education Today forneceu o maior número de evidências (28,6%). Com relação ao delineamento de pesquisa todos os estudos eram transversais (100%), onde todos representavam nível de evidência seis. A pandemia afetou a forma como o conhecimento é repassado, e dificultou a realização de aulas práticas para os alunos onde, o ensino remoto se tornou a alternativa mais segura e eficaz, utilizando diversas plataformas online, como Zoom, Google Meet e Teams.
A bromelina possui um potencial anti-inflamatório, antioxidante, propriedades anticâncer e funciona também como um auxiliador no processo de digestão e como um agente cardioprotetor. O objetivo do estudo foi analisar por meio da literatura científica a ação mucolítica da bromelina. Trata-se de uma pesquisa revisão bibliográfica da literatura, na qual foi utilizada para a geração da questão norteadora: “Quais evidências científicas mostram a ação mucolítica da bromelina?”. Sete estudos incluídos nesta revisão, todos com abordagem quantitativa dos dados (100%); concentraram-se principalmente no ano de 2017 (42,9%) e todos estavam na língua inglesa (100%), com procedência de estudos publicados na Áustria (42,9%), o European Journal of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics concentrou mais publicações, correspondendo a 28,6%. Os estudos abordavam sobre o uso da bromelina associadas com outras substâncias, os efeitos da bromelina, tais como a melhoria da permeabilidade para fármacos, e sua atuação no muco intestinal tornando-o mais permeável. O estudo permitiu expandir os conhecimentos acerca da bromelina ou bromelaína enquanto agente mucolítico, seus potenciais nutracêuticos e ação contra algumas patologias, além de sua possível utilização pela indústria farmacêutica para a criação de drogas que ultrapassem a barreira mucolítica mais facilmente.
Os desastres podem acontecer por diversos fenômenos naturais, as vezes pela junção de dois ou mais, sendo classificados em tecnológicos ou naturais. Estes eventos adversos geralmente atingem pessoas que já se encontram em situação de vulnerabilidade, podendo estar relacionada diretamente a transtornos psicológicos, podendo ainda, afetar os profissionais. O trabalho teve como objetivo geral analisar com base na literatura científica a atuação do enfermeiro em situações de desastres naturais. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica do tipo Revisão Integrativa (RI) da literatura, que utilizou os Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS) e dos títulos da Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) e Mesh terms. Ao todo foram selecionados onze estudos, a maior parte apresentou abordagem qualitativa dos dados, correspondendo a sete (63,3%) trabalhos, em que a base de dados da National Library of Medicine apresentou o maior número de estudos (45,4%). A maior parte das publicações concentraram-se no ano de 2019 (36,3%) e 2020 (27,2%). Quanto ao idioma dez (90%) das publicações estavam na língua inglesa; em que o Brasil foi o país com o maior número de publicações (27,2%). A assistência prestada aos pacientes vítimas de desastres naturais, deve ser focada em aspectos físicos e psicológicos. Nesse caso, a enfermagem deve entrar em ação lidando diretamente com o sujeito e prestando esclarecimentos acerca do procedimento realizado por ele, além de realizar escuta ativa, quando o paciente tem condições e deseja verbalizar, oferecer conforto e utilizar o toque como fonte de segurança aos clientes.
A pneumonia associada à ventilação (PAV) é definida como uma infecção pulmonar que surge entre 48 a 72 horas após a intubação endotraqueal e início da ventilação mecânica invasiva (VMI), sendo uma das complicações mais temíveis da terapia intensiva. O estudo tem como objetivo geral analisar as ações de enfermagem na prevenção da pneumonia associada a ventilação mecânica. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, descritiva e exploratória, na qual utilizou-se a seguinte questão norteadora “Quais ações de enfermagem contribuem na prevenção da pneumonia associada a ventilação mecânica?”, aplicada a estratégia PICO e com uso do booleano “AND” nas bases Bireme, Cinahl e Pubmed via Medline. Ao todo foram selecionados 12 artigos conforme os critérios previamente estabelecidos, a maioria dos estudos abordou sobre o nível de conhecimento dos profissionais de enfermagem quanto as medidas de prevenção em pneumonia associada a ventilação mecânica, além da adesão dos profissionais a ações preventivas e a utilização de estratégias que possam ser aplicadas no dia-a-dia da prática clínica. Torna-se claro que a assistência prestada deve ser focada tanto no processo de adoecimento que o paciente vivencia quanto na prevenção de outras patologias, como é o caso da pneumonia, que pode gerar diversas complicações e até mesmo levar ao óbito.
