O relato aqui apresentado é o resultado do projeto de extensão “Brinquedoteca Comunitária” que tem a finalidade de promover atividades culturais e a disseminação de informações socioambientais para crianças de escolas públicas. A educação ambiental é vista como ferramenta poderosa para mudança de mentalidade do indivíduo e, consequentemente, para a construção de sociedades sustentáveis. Com base nisso, foi proposto um serviço de disseminação de informação socioambiental para as Escolas Municipais Infantis (EMEI) localizadas na cidade de Juazeiro-BA e adjacências organizado pela brinquedoteca comunitária do Espaço Plural da Universidade Federal Vale do São Francisco para apresentação do sistema de produção de alimentos (Sisteminha Espaço Plural). Na visita de campo os alunos e professores recebem orientações sobre as hortaliças, legumes e frutas. Exploram livremente os canteiros e pomar das frutas, assim como, as instalações dos animais, das aves e o reservatório de peixes. Toda essa vivência gera nos participantes uma rica aprendizagem sobre temas como saúde, segurança alimentar, sustentabilidade e preservação da biodiversidade para uma maior resiliência do bioma caatinga.
Abstract. Considerações sobre redes sociais educativasCom o surgimento da Internet a comunicação mundial em suas diversas áreas passou por inúmeras transformações. A velocidade, o fluxo e a troca da informação e do conhecimento entre organizações e indivíduos é um fator marcante promovido por essa grande rede. No século XXI aplicabilidade da internet nos variados campos do conhecimento é tema constante, discutido em academias e eventos. Nesse contexto as redes sociais educativas têm gerado discussões atrativas e consideráveis avanços.A rede social se baseia nas relações entre humanos que estejam interagindo em causa própria, em defesa do outro ou até mesmo de uma entidade, mediadas ou não por máquinas. Recuero (2009) define redes sociais como "uma metáfora para observar os padrões de conexão de um grupo social, a partir das conexões estabelecidas entre os diversos atores" (p. 24). Ressaltamos a abordagem de que as redes sociais se caracterizam pela relação entre pessoas de um mesmo espaço ou não, sendo que todos interagem através de seus interesses. Para Marteleto (2010) "o conceito de redes sociais leva a uma compreensão da sociedade a partir dos vínculos relacionais entre os indivíduos, os quais reforçariam suas capacidades de atuação, compartilhamento, aprendizagem, captação de recursos e mobilização" (p. 28). Este relato é resultado das discussões ressaltadas durante o componente Produção da Existência nos Territórios Semiáridos, oferecido pelo Programa de Mestrado Multidisciplinar em Educação, Cultura e Territórios Semiáridos (PPGESA/UNEB), ministrado pelos professores Drª Luzineide Dourado Carvalho e Drº Manoel Abilio de Queiroz. Contempla uma visita de campo à Cooperativa Agropecuária Familiar de Canudos, Uauá e Curaçá (COOPERCUC), com sede em Uauá e que desenvolve trabalhos de beneficiamento ecológico das frutas da caatinga como o umbu e o maracujá do mato. Também a visita ao município de Canudos, onde foi possível observar o cenário da guerra e outras experiências de organização coletiva que surgem, além das ações da ONG Biodiversitas, responsável pelo programa de conservação da arara-azul-de-lear (Anodorhynchus leari). Converge com as vivências a partir de um entrelaçamento entre o olhar empírico e os diálogos teóricos, proporcionando a oportunidade de perceber a existência de diferentes associações de atores preocupados em estabelecer o uso racional dos recursos da região semiárida.
