O envelhecimento condiciona a uma progressiva redução na capacidade fisiológica e na diminuição da habilidade de respostas ao estresse ambiental, levando a um aumento da suscetibilidade e vulnerabilidade as doenças, principalmente as parasitoses. Parasitose é o termo usado para definir toda afecção causada por agentes parasitários, incluindo suas manifestações patológicas. O objetivo desse estudo foi descrever o perfil epidemiológico das parasitoses intestinais que afetam os idosos no Brasil nos últimos 10 anos e catalogar quais os principais parasitas em maior prevalência e por que atingem os idosos nas regiões do país. O estudo foi realizado através de revisão integrativa da literatura sem aplicação de meta-análise sobre o tema parasitoses intestinais no Brasil nos anos de 2009 a 2018. Nesse estudo dos artigos mostrou que foram analisadas amostras parasitológicas de idosos, com idade entre 65 a 80 anos, sexo feminino e masculino, residentes em casas de repouso na zona urbana, com maior prevalência dos parasitas comensais Entamoeba coli e Endolimax nana e a técnica mais utilizada foi a de Hoffman. Existe necessidade de estudos mais completos sobre a situação das taxas de prevalência de parasitoses intestinais em idosos no Brasil dada a escassez de trabalhos voltados para o tema em questão.
Objetivou-se, neste estudo, analisar a cafeicultura familiar do município de Bom Sucesso - MG, em relação à adoção das Boas Práticas Agrícolas, por meio das análises de Cluster e discriminante. Foi realizado o reconhecimento da situação atual da cafeicultura familiar do município, através da aplicação de questionários estruturados do tipo Survey, nas propriedades rurais. Aplicou-se o questionário para um total de 26 cafeicultores familiares associados à Associação Comunitária do Machado e à Associação Nossa Senhora da Badia. Após a aplicação dos questionários, os resultados foram tabulados e foi realizada a análise estatística multivariada de Cluster e, posteriormente a análise discriminante. A análise de Cluster tem como objetivo agrupar os indivíduos (casos) com características semelhantes em função de um conjunto de variáveis selecionadas que separaram, neste caso, os produtores em dois grupos distintos. Já a análise discriminante apresentou as sete variáveis que mais discriminam um grupo do outro, apresentando assim as principais diferenças entre eles. Os produtores do Grupo 1 apresentam características de maior organização diante do Grupo 2, em relação à adoção das Boas Práticas Agrícolas. No entanto, tanto os cafeicultores/propriedades do Grupo 1 quanto do Grupo 2 apresentam pontos que podem ser melhorados, o que justifica o planejamento de ações e políticas de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural (ATER), para cada um dos grupos. Dessa forma, espera-se que este estudo auxilie na tomada de decisão tanto por parte do poder público local quanto dos cafeicultores familiares e associações, a fim de que esta atividade alcance maior sustentabilidade no município.
Tocantina do Maranhão. RESUMOO ácido hialurônico é um composto glicosaminoglicano, constituído de ácido glucorônico, é encontrando na matriz extracelular da pele. Eles mantem vivas as fibras de colágeno que dão sustentação, hidratação e também elasticidade. Conforme vai se envelhecendo a produção do ácido vai diminuindo gradativamente isso é um processo biológico complexo. O presente trabalho tratou de uma pesquisa descritiva, através de uma revisão bibliográfica, pautando-se na busca de estudos científicos publicados em banco de dados como Scielo, Google acadêmico e Pubmed Com o objetivo de realizar uma revisão bibliográfica considerando a aplicabilidade do preenchimento com ácido hialurônico no combate ao envelhecimento e as suas reações adversas. Conclui-se que se pode fazer a utilização do mesmo para a reposição em nosso organismo, hidratando e restaurando a pele facial, assim alcançando um efeito antienvelhecimento, porém é recomendado buscar um profissional competente para as aplicações para assim evitar reações adversas.
A prática de automedicação, considerada como grave problema de saúde pública entre usuários usam os ativos para alívio de sintomas ou complicações, alguns sem saber o intervalo de tempo determinado entre duas dosagem em curto período que pode provocar efeitos adversos. Assim, o objetivo foi descrever as complicações causadas pela automedicação em pacientes com COVID-19. Tratou-se de uma revisão sistemática da literatura desenvolvida com base de seis etapas, com busca a partir das bases de dados Literatura Latino Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE/PUBMED) e na biblioteca virtual Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO). Por se tratar de um tema recente, o período escolhido para a análise envolveu artigos publicados entre 2019 e 2022. A amostra avaliada nesta pesquisa está designada às indicadas em outras pesquisas publicadas, considerando a predominância de que a automedicação ocorreu de forma exagerada, tais como analgésicos, anti-inflamatórios, antialérgicos, antibióticos e ansiolíticos, devido a fake news e comportamentos irracionais durante a pandemia da COVID-19, gerando interação medicamentosa e intoxicação. Ressalta-se que a atenção farmacêutica é fundamentada em garantir segurança à vida do indivíduo, através de prevenção e informação, garantindo ainda uma farmacoterapia segura e racional, sem interferir no diagnóstico estipulado por outro profissional prescritor. Medidas devem ser tomadas, especialmente ao uso racional de medicamentos e acompanhamento na dispensação do medicamentos, com base à educação e orientação.
