An appropriate infrastructure is required to efficiently meet the mobility needs of citizens and the needs of business in the implementation of transport processes. This infrastructure must be taken care of by local authorities and other entities. Hence, the role of local government cannot be overestimated in this respect. The development of the rail transport infrastructure should not lag behind the development and changing needs of the city. Adequate development of the railway infrastructure makes it possible to increase the competitiveness of rail transport in cities and agglomerations, both in respect of passenger and freight transport.
The article examines the current state of the railway transport infrastructure in the city of Poznań and in the Poznań agglomeration, paying attention to the potential of its use in the above mentioned transport groups. The aim of the author is to indicate the problems faced by the city today and the directions of railway infrastructure development in the city.
Zrównoważona mobilność definiowana jest m.in. jako rozwój transportu publicznego, ale także systemów nowoczesnej mobilności – car poolingu, car sharingu, systemów rowerów miejskich czy innych „wspólnych” pojazdów do przemieszczania się. W artykule przedstawiono wybrane koncepcje z zakresu zrównoważonej mobilności w wybranych polskich miastach. Celem autora była analiza dostępności rozwiązań z zakresu zrównoważonej logistyki miejskiej w największych polskich miastach i ocena, w jakim stopniu mogą być one środkiem do efektywnego przemieszczania w przestrzeni miejskiej. Z badań wynika, że polskie miasta bardzo poważnie podchodzą do tematów zrównoważonej mobilności i oferują mieszkańcom wiele rozwiązań w tym zakresie.
The main objective of this paper is to present an example of the IT system implementation with advanced mathematical optimisation for job scheduling. The proposed genetic procedure leads to the Pareto front, and the application of the multiple criteria decision aiding (MCDA) approach allows extraction of the final solution. Definition of the key performance indicator (KPI) reflecting relevant features of the solutions, and the efficiency of the genetic procedure provide the Pareto front comprising the representative set of feasible solutions. The application of chosen MCDA, namely elimination et choix traduisant la réalité (ELECTRE) method, allows for the elicitation of the decision maker (DM) preferences and subsequently leads to the final solution. This solution fulfils all of the DM expectations and constitutes the best trade-off between considered KPIs. The proposed method is an efficient combination of genetic optimisation and the MCDA method.
