O presente artigo consiste em uma discussão preliminar acerca do individualismo urbano, diversidade cultural e prática social interdisciplinar inclusiva e colaborativa. Partindo de reflexões da disciplina Diversidade Cultural e Prática Social Urbana cursada no Mestrado em Humanidades, Culturas e Artes (PPGHCA/UNIGRANRIO, 2017), o trabalho procura na interdisciplinaridade os fundamentos para promover reflexões sobre a inclusão. O estudo teórico representa o revigoramento da temática interdisciplinaridade na educação, acerca dos processos inclusivos a partir de reflexões fomentadas pela disciplina citada anteriormente. Vamos considerar o projeto de dissertação desenvolvido em 2017, que apresenta em sua introdução o contexto excludente da Educação Especial, resistindo ferozmente até sua gradativa construção num perfil inclusivo. Observamos através do percurso histórico e da atual conjuntura das políticas de educação inclusiva a luta autêntica, provocando uma forma de resistência nos espaços escolares através da cultura. Aspectos esses que compreendemos ser de suma importância para os espaços educacionais acerca da reflexão da implantação da Lei da Educação Especial. Neste prisma, o artigo faz uma interseção teórica entre as ideias de Richard Sennett (2003), George Simmel (1976 1987; 2005), Geertz Cliford (1976) e outros autores correlatos ao tema. Para tanto, introduzimos o artigo fazendo o paralelo com a disciplina Diversidade Cultural e Práticas Sociais Urbanas a partir da contextualização sobre a interdisciplinaridade e posteriormente a maneira colaborativa pela qual entendemos e trabalhamos inclusão no contexto educacional.
