Resumo: Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar o processo de ajustamento e de integração dos imigrantes que se instalaram na região Oeste do Paraná no século XXI. Para tanto, em termos metodológicos, este estudo corresponde a uma pesquisa qualitativa e em termos de estratégia, um estudo de caso. Os dados foram coletados por intermédio de entrevistas com roteiro semiestruturado, sendo que ao todo foram realizadas 20 entrevistas com imigrantes de origens diversas, instalados na região Oeste do Paraná. Dentre os resultados, destaca-se que os fatores que facilitaram a adaptação foram o ter encontrado trabalho rapidamente, o apoio de igrejas e movimentos sociais e a regularização da estadia. Em relação aos fatores que dificultaram a adaptação, tem-se o idioma, o clima e o fato de não conseguir validar o diploma de curso superior. Como contribuição, o estudo tem como propósito o aprofundamento e a identificação de pontos positivos e negativos relacionados à imigração na região Oeste do Paraná, que é uma temática culturalmente subvalorizada pela sociedade, e como relatado no estudo, também pelo governo local.Palavras-Chave: Imigrantes; Ajustamento; Integração. Abstract:This paper aims to analyze the process of adjustment and integration of the immigrants who settled in the western region of Paraná in the 21st century. To do so, in methodological terms, this study corresponds to a qualitative research and in terms of strategy, a case study. The data collected through interviews with semi-structured script, being that in all twenty interviews conducted with immigrants of diverse origins, installed in the western region of Paraná. Among the results, it is highlighted that the factors that facilitated the adaptation were found work quickly, the support of churches and social movements, and regularization of the stay.
