Nos grandes centros urbanos de países em desenvolvimento intensificação da migração do campo para cidade, o aumento da densidade demográfica, a urbanização desordenada, a pobreza urbana, as condições sanitárias precárias, a ineficiência das políticas públicas de saúde tem favorecido a emergência das arboviroses. O presente estudo tem o objetivo de analisar as condições de renda e densidade populacional sobre as ocorrências de febre Chikungunya em Belém do Pará, no período de 2016 a 2018. As variáveis foram analisadas com base em estatísticas descritivas, a partir das quais foram determinadas média, desvio padrão, coeficiente de variação, mediana, mínimo e máximo. A análise temporal identificou aumento no número de ocorrências ao longo do período avaliado. Quanto à distribuição espacial observa-se a expansão e a manutenção de focos da doença em determinados bairros. A correlação de Pearson identificou associação entre as ocorrências de febre Chikungunya e a variável de densidade demografia, em 2017, que resultou em uma regressão linear fraca, porém significativa.Palavras-chave: Febre Chikungunya.
