A Paralisia Cerebral (PC) tem sido a desordem mais comum entre crianças com algum tipo de deficiência física, cujos seus sintomas variam conforme a região do cérebro afetada. O tratamento prévio pode aumentar o desenvolvimento motor do paciente, controle dos movimentos, normalização do tônus muscular e aumento da amplitude de movimento. O método PediaSuit é um protocolo de tratamento intensivo, onde baseia-se em um roupa ortopédica-terapêutica que, ao ser utilizada em pacientes com PC, permite proporcionar uma melhora no padrão de movimentos, favorecendo a postura, equilíbrio e flexibilidade. Este estudo tem como objetivo apresentar os efeitos do protocolo PediaSuit no processo de reabilitação de crianças portadoras de PC. O método deste estudo foi por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica com artigos científicos, onde a coleta de dados foi através da base de dados do sistema Google Acadêmico e Scielo, no período de 2002 a 2019. Conforme a revisão de literatura apresentada, o protocolo PediaSuit apresenta efeitos positivos em crianças com PC após um longo período de tratamento intensivo. Contudo, novas pesquisas em relação a esse assunto são necessárias, a fim de documentar os resultados obtidos e a importância desse recurso terapêutico.
