En los últimos tiempos, la combinación de altos precios de la energía y precios más asequibles de las instalaciones de energías renovables domésticas, ha impulsado el desarrollo de comunidades energéticas para producir, consumir, almacenar, intercambiar y vender energías. Estas comunidades generalmente se implementan en forma de grupos de consumidores o entidades que colectivamente consumen y generan energía y, desde el punto de vista de la red eléctrica, suelen adoptar la forma de microrredes. No obstante, el uso de arquitecturas distribuidas conlleva un mayor intercambio de datos e información de control entre los agentes finales, lo que puede implicar problemas de seguridad o privacidad. En este contexto, la tecnología blockchain surge como una solución factible que promete sistemas transparentes, a prueba de manipulaciones y seguros en un ecosistema descentralizado. Este trabajo propone una plataforma de gestión energética distribuida que aprovecha la tecnología blockchain para permitir transacciones seguras peer to peer (P2P). Se adopta un esquema de control predictivo distribuido (DMPC) y su rendimiento es comparado con el enfoque centralizado.
