E-commerce notably increases the reach of enterprises, bringing a firm"s products and services into the international arena. In times of shrinking domestic markets, due to national crises, becoming available in global markets is essential for survival and growth. We have thus held three focus group interactions to produce a set of strategic recommendations with regards to how to improve e-Commerce adoption levels in Iberian enterprises, essential in times of local hardship and market contraction. Suggestions include creating actions to influence governments to re-evaluate the legislation that regulates e-Commerce, making it more transparent; encouraging venture capitalists, banks and business angels to finance such e-Commerce endeavors; encouraging higher education institutions (HEI) to partner with Iberian enterprises to ensure knowledge transfer in both directions; creating, with HEI and training organizations, a set of new training courses directed at Iberian enterprises and focusing on concepts such as Web 2.0 capabilities and a coherent online organizational identity. Fundamental is the perspective that e-Commerce is a strategic issue, warranting funds and qualified personnel, at different levels in the hierarchy, for adequate strategic eintent, e-vision, and e-mission formulation, followed by effective e-process implementation.

With this in mind, this study will go through several stages of qualitative analysis to find the most relevant and important factors in the adoption of digital marketing in startups. We are looking to validate the results of each step with experts in the field; in order to do that an online focus group tool will be used so that the digital marketing specialists can propound their opinions.
It is increasingly usual to find notions of artificial neural networks (ANNs) included in the curricula of many engineering studies. In this article, we present Neuro-Lab, a simulation software to teach basic concepts of ANNs to undergraduate students of the Computer Engineering School in the University of Vigo (Spain). Neuro-Lab was designed with the aim of offering a very easy-to-use user interface, support of exploratory learning activities, and also high reusability. This feature allows for an easy extension, integration, and interoperation of the software with other applications. ß
Money is one of the most important things for enterprises today. Computer Centers represent a large part of the total costs of enterprises, irrespective of their size. Today's advanced visualization systems will revolutionize the way information is perceived in industrial environments. This will help the different industrial workers to interact more efficiently with the machines, equipment, and systems installed in the industrial plant. The display devices will provide operators with all the information they need to perform their work more efficiently, as well as inform them of all the hazards and safety in their environment. Also, screen operators, thanks to the use of a single 2.5D/3D screen, will possess exhaustive knowledge of the state of the industrial process. This increases the amount on quantity and quality of information that is offered to the operator and it avoids the superfluous navigation between operation screens. This chapter explores advanced visualization systems in industrial environments.
