La gran diversidad científica y la globalización de la literatura mundial han encaminado a la necesidad de crear nuevos sistemas de evaluación, medición, calificación y comparación de la calidad de resultados científicos a partir de la evolución de las tecnologías de información en pleno siglo XXI. En connotación a esta necesidad existen técnicas que contienen escalas e indicadores para la cuantificación, evaluación y calificación del efecto que una publicación científica. Actualmente estos software (vosviewer – citnetexplorer y shape of science) se consideran útiles como herramientas para la medición de la calidad de los métodos de investigación en términos bibliométricos ya que son motivo de controversia dada su cuestionada independencia, representatividad y validez en diferentes áreas científicas. El objetivo primordial del presente artículo es explorar los orígenes, definiciones y aplicaciones científicas aplicadas a casos Ecuatorianos. Finalmente, enfocarnos en el desarrollo constante de las diferentes bases de datos y herramientas bibliométricas aplicadas al mundo académico o empresarial.
Si bien es cierto cuando escuchamos términos como arte y diseño pensamos que estamos hablando de lo mismo, el presente estudio se enfoca en contextualizar cada área de estudio para tener en consideración sus principales diferencias. El objetivo de la investigación se centra en conocer la relación existente entre arte y diseño gráfico durante el periodo 2010 – 2022. La metodología es de carácter cuantitativo proporcionado por Scopus y Web of Science en métodos de producción científica bibliométrica. Los principales resultados se esquematizan en autores más productivos, idioma de procedencia de las investigaciones, genero de los investigadores, países de procedencia de las publicaciones y palabras claves. Finalmente, como futuras investigaciones se plantea realizar una analisis de interacción entre las cátedras artísticas y el potencial que estas otorgan a los estudiantes de diseño de las diferentes instituciones de educación superior.
La evolución de las tecnologías web 4.0 es el próximo gran avance en las plataformas virtuales y se centrará en ofrecer un comportamiento más inteligente, más predictivo, de modo que podamos, con sólo realizar una afirmación o petición, poner en marcha un conjunto de acciones que tendrán como resultando aquello que pedimos o solicitamos. El objetivo de esta investigación fue presentar cuales son las plataformas virtuales de mayor uso entre la interacción profesor – alumno debido a la nueva modalidad que estamos viviendo por la pandemia del Covid19. La metodología implementada fue de carácter descriptivo y de diseño bibliográfico. Los principales resultados de la investigación mostraron que la plataforma virtual con más aceptación debido al acceso libre, a su interfaz y versatilidad es Moodle (95,15%), destacando por encima de otras plataformas virtuales como Chamilo (3,10) y Sakai (1,75). Finalmente, como futuras investigaciones se plantea realizar un análisis de interacción de plataformas virtuales pero esta vez centrándose específicamente en estudiantes de postgrado y de doctorado para lograr un conocimiento más exacto entre los procesos de instrucción y educación colaborativa
El virus del sars cov 2 fue detectado el 31 de diciembre de 2019 por la Organización Mundial de laSalud (OMS, 2019), este fue el primer y único brote de neumonía en la ciudad de Wuhan, China.A finales de enero 2020, este brote epidémico se transformó en pandemia y, por lo tanto, en unaemergencia de salud pública de interés internacional. El objetivo fundamental fue investigar lared colaborativa de producción científica en el caso covid–19, con el fin de identificar, mapear, yexplorar las interconexiones entre publicaciones, autores más relevantes, países de procedencia,filiación institucional y palabras claves. Metodológicamente el estudio posee como diseño deinvestigación un análisis bibliométrico exploratorio y descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo,el periodo de recopilación de la información se llevó a cabo en marzo del 2022, teniendo enconsideración la información disponible en Web of Science de los años 2020–2021. Finalmente,los investigadores ecuatorianos también se posicionaron con sus contribuciones académicas sobrecovid–19 aproximadamente en 150 publicaciones de alto impacto y de acceso abierto en el mundo
