Mediante la prueba computarizada Memonum se evaluaron los efectos de dos intervalos de exposición de dígitos (1 y 8 segundos), y la presentación de un distractor sobre el desempeño de la memoria de trabajo en 80 mujeres mayores de 50 años. Se evidenció un efecto significativo del intervalo sobre las variables: número de aciertos, aciertos acumulados, y empleo de estrategias adicionales, demostrando un mejor desempeño mnemónico en participantes que presentaron la prueba en el intervalo de 8 segundos y sugiriendo que un tiempo amplio de exposición potencia la capacidad de almacenamiento de la memoria en adultos mayores. La presencia del distractor tuvo un efecto significativo sobre el número de aciertos acumulados, considerándose como un estimulo interferente capaz de afectar la memoria de trabajo en adultos mayores.
El presente estudio analizó las diferencias de indicadores psicofisiológicos, asociados con el engaño, entre respuestas veraces y engañosas, derivadas de una escala psicométrica de honestidad. Mediante un estudio cuasi -experimental, 15 mujeres y 15 hombres, entre 25 y 38 años, empleados administrativos y operarios de dos empresas, participaron en sesión individual, estructurada según técnicas de poligrafía: consentimiento informado, preentrevista, registro de actividad cardiaca, y electrodermal, durante un cuestionario de poligrafía, conformado por preguntas de una escala de veracidad y preguntas control. Análisis de varianza seguidos por pruebas comparativas pos hoc, revelaron mayor reactividad electrodermal, asociada al engaño ante preguntas control y preguntas de honestidad, orientadas a indagar por aspectos laborales relacionados con el deber, el compromiso, la propensión al robo y la puntualidad. Las preguntas relacionadas con aspectos subjetivos y orientación personal provocaron una reactividad fisiológica, que puede sesgar la interpretación del poligrafista, mientras que, las preguntas de la escala de honestidad, orientadas por conductas laborales, distinguieron en mayor medida la reactividad electrodermal asociada con el engaño, en contraste con preguntas que indagaron por conductas de deseabilidad social. Finalmente, análisis comparativos mostraron que los cambios de la actividad electrodermal se constituyeron en el mejor indicador para distinguir respuestas engañosas. This study aimed to analyze the differences of inhibitory component of executive functions between the crimes of a sample of sex offenders. The sample consisted of 121 men convicted and detained in a prison in the department of Santander, with an average age of 40.74 and a standard deviation of 9.54 years, who were classified according to the described offenses and offenses under the Criminal Code Colombian. In the data collection he is administered the Stroop color-word test, and the data were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 15.0 in Spanish. The results show no difference in performance between different inhibitory component crimes of sex offenders, according to comparative between variables and Word-Color Interference Stroop test. We conclude that, despite the results not entirely reject the hypothesis of a possible deficit in inhibitory control on sex offenders, based on trends in the distribution of Z scores over regulatory or reference data.
