Se estudia la influencia del consumo de alcohol en la recuperación de drogadictos sometidos a tratamiento. Se relacionan los niveles de consumo de drogas ilegales y de alcohol de antes, durantey después del tratamiento en una muestra de 82 pacientes seguidos durante un año y medio. Se evidencia que tras la intervención aumenta el consumo de alcohol en el 50% de adictosy llega a niveles excesivos en un 10-13%. El mayor consumo coincide con la finalización del tratamiento. Posteriormente (18 meses) baja a niveles próximos a los iniciales. Estos resultados no permiten interpretar die ho aumento mediante la hipótesis de la sustitución, es decir, el desvío del consumo hacia sustancias más toleradas socialmente.
La prevención escolar plantea una serie de retos a la hora de aplicar y explicar los resultados de estos programas, en el presente estudio se hacen una serie de reflexiones que tienen que ver con la metodología de aplicación y con las características de los sujetos como aspectos determinantes de la receptividad y aprovechamiento de estos programas. Los datos que se ofrecen fueron obtenidos de una muestra de 5.066 escolares de 11-14 años que participaron en un programa de prevención de carácter universal. Los resultados indican que la implicación del sUjeto en el consumo, el nivel de participación de la clase, las explicaciones del profesor y algunas consideraciones que valoran el no consumo como expresión de madurez e inteligencia resultan ser variables predictoras del aprendizaje y satisfacción con el programa.
RESUMENPara conocer las conductas de indisciplina y violencia escolar hemos seleccionado una muestra de 2.054 alumnos de 1º-2º ESO. Insultar es la conducta inadecuada más frecuente (94%), seguida de alterar e interrumpir en clase (90%), burlarse o molestar a compañeros (88%) y las peleas e intimidaciones con 78% y 68% respectivamente. La conducta de mayor gravedad es andar con drogas en el centro, seguida de faltar al respeto al profesor, peleas entre alumnos y fumar. Además, las conductas inadecuadas se muestran sensibles a los cambios madurativos del alumnado, disminuyendo significativamente con la edad.ABSTRACTIn orden to identify acts of indiscipline and school violence we have selected a sample of 2.054 1st-2nd ESO school children. In the ranking we can find Insults (94%) followed by Interrupting the class (90%), Making fun of classmates (88%) and Fights or Intimidation with 78% and 68% respectively. The most serious school infractions are considered to be Possession of narcotics within school followed by Disrespect for the teacher, Fights between pupils and Smoking. It has been observed that antisocial conduct is subject to maturing changes among pupils, diminishing significantly with the age.
El trabajo se centra en valorar las implicaciones que la actividad delictiva tiene, tanto en el inicio como en la evolución, y los resultados del tratamiento por consumo de drogas. A tal fin, se seleccionó una muestra de 209 pacientes que solicitaron tratamiento. Ellos fueron valorados enlas principales áreas objeto de análisis y seguidos durante un año y medio; se realizaron valoraciones de su evolución cada seis meses. Los resultados indican que el paso por la institución terapéutica conlleva una reducción muy significativa de la actividad delictiva, aunque los pacientes con un mayor historial ofrecen más dificultades y una respuesta inicial más pobre; noobstante, en el seguimiento estas diferencias llegan a desaparecer.
