Este artigo buscou analisar a produção científica sobre a prevalência do Transtorno do déficit de atenção com hiperatividade (TDAH), assim associando as principais causas e suas consequências em adultos. O TDAH é uma alteração do neurodesenvolvimento e é determinado por graus prejudiciais de desatenção, desorganização e/ou hiperatividadeimpulsividade. A origem é desconhecida, entretanto fatores ambientais, orgânicos e biológicos podem estar atrelados à sua evolução clínica. Dessa forma, podem perdurar na vida adulta, podendo ser mais complicado do que simplesmente a continuação de um transtorno infantil, o que pode ser prejudicial no âmbito social, acadêmico e profissional. De acordo com estudos, permanece na vida adulta em torno de 60% a 70% dos casos, sendo as divergências encontradas nas taxas de remissão possivelmente secundárias às diversas definições do TDAH ao decorrer do tempo. O objetivo desse trabalho foi relatar a prevalência do TDAH em adultos e suas complicações. Entretanto, as poucas pesquisas sobre o Transtorno do déficit de atenção com hiperatividade em adultos ainda são precárias para se ter maiores resultados sobre os malefícios que podem causar ao longo dos anos na vida adulta.Palavras-chave: TDAH, alteração do desenvolvimento, prevalência em adultos.
A estenose aórtica é a valvopatia grave mais prevalente na população, caracterizada pela obstrução fixa da valva aórtica. Assintomática nos estágios iniciais, pode cursar com a tríade de dispneia, síncope e dor torácica. Como tratamento, a cirurgia de substituição da valva é uma das opções. METODOLOGIA: Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa, com pesquisas nas bases de dados SciELO, LILACS e PubMed e recorte temporal de 2016 a 2021. Os descritores utilizados foram "aortic valve stenosis", " transcatheter aortic valve replacement "e "indicators of morbidity and mortality", nas línguas inglesa e portuguesa. RESULTADOS: Os artigos analisados foram publicados em periódicos nacionais e internacionais. Foram selecionados artigos de revisões sistemáticas, ensaios clínicos, editorial, relatos de caso, estudos comparativos, estudos observacionais, revisão narrativa e estudos prognósticos. DISCUSSÃO: A bibliografia consultada afirma que o implante de valva aórtica transcateter -TAVI surgiu como um tratamento menos invasivo nos casos de estenose aórtica grave, sendo uma alternativa para pacientes com alto risco cirúrgico ou considerados 'inoperáveis'. CONCLUSÃO: De acordo com estudos, o uso de TAVI apresenta benefícios em alguns casos bem como tem impactos positivos na sobrevida de pacientes submetidos ao tratamento cirúrgico da estenose aórtica. Contudo, assim como qualquer procedimento tem várias possíveis complicações.
Introdução: O câncer de pulmão é a neoplasia com maior número de mortes anualmente. Assim, recentemente, implementaram-se novas intervenções como a cirurgia torácica vídeo assistida e a cirurgia robótica. Objetivo: Apresentar as diferenças entre os desfechos da VATS e da RATS para o tratamento de câncer de pulmão. Metódos: Artigos publicados entre 2016 e 2021, incluindo estudos originais, ensaios clínicos, estudos retrospectivos e caso-controle foram selecionados. As bases de dados Medline, SciELO, LILACS, Ovid e Cochrane foram consultadas na busca. Foram encontrados 32 artigos e, após aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, 12 estudos foram lidos na íntegra; 4 foram elegíveis para essa revisão sistemática. Resultados e discussão: O tamanho da amostra dos artigos incluídos na revisão variou de 10 a 470 pacientes, sendo a faixa etária entre 55 e 68 anos em todos os estudos analisados retrospectivamente. Os seguintes desfechos foram comparados: complicações perioperatórias, tempo de duração de internação hospitalar, tempo de duração da cirurgia, taxa de conversão e taxa de mortalidade. A única diferença significativa encontrada foi uma menor taxa de conversão na RATS, por vantagens técnicas. Conclusão: Apesar da menor taxa de conversão na RATS, em geral, os desfechos não apresentaram diferença significativa.
