This article discusses materials from the rich Sarmatian burial mound of Mokra on the middle Dnestr River. Despite losses to theft, a diverse inventory was recovered consisting of artistic, intricately worked prestige objects such as imported and locally produced bronze utensils, smoking vessels, carved ivory with a Eros motif as well as ornaments in so-called gold-turquoise style. The complex dates to the first quarter or first half of the second century A.D. The grave is the resting place of a member of the ruling class of the Alans. The grave finds clearly reflect the historical situation that emerged in the European part of the steppe in the first centuries A.D. This includes the tendency to recruit the representatives of the ruling class from among the tribal elite and, as a consequence, to territorially isolate the individual tribal unions.În articol se publicȃ materialele arheologice descoperite în mormântul sarmatic princiar din tumulul de lângȃ satul Mocra, situat în zona cursului mijlociu al râului Nistru.

This article presents four fibulae -three made of bronze and one of iron -that were found in Cozia Group settlements of the Siret region. These are the oldest finds discovered here, which again supports the view that the beginnings of the Cozia Group date back to around 1000 BC. Fibulae with three knobs on the boiu (Pibel mit drei Bügelkugeln) appeared in the Aegean world during the Protogeometric period and spread to the north; they have been found in the Eastern Balkans, the Danubian region (Dobrudscha) and in Moldavia. Moreover, these fibulae attest to the Aegean influence on the costumes of the Cozia Group and of all Early Hallstatt cultures with incised and stamped pottery as early as the 10th century BC.
