Este artigo apresenta os resultados de um curso realizado pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina em parceria com a Escola de Ensino Médio Macário Borba, localizada em Sombrio-SC. O curso teve duração de 2 (dois) meses e foi restrito a meninas do ensino médio. O curso teve como objetivo incentivá-las a seguirem nas áreas tecnológicas, devido à baixa percentagem de mulheres encontradas nessas áreas. O curso apresentou os conteúdos como lógica computacional e montagem e programação do kit robótico (LEGO). Os resultados foram positivos, porém notou-se a falta de incentivo para os estudantes da educação básica, falta de conhecimento, pelo mesmo, nos cursos de universidades próximas.
The present work aims to socialize the contributions of innovationsapplications and their interdisciplinarities for the construction of anintelligent city prototype using IoT concepts and its applications, in order tosearch for a variety of methods of teaching technology, computing andelectronics. The workshops were attended by High School students. Since themembers' reports and discussions with the group, it was possible to perceivethat the activities aroused their interest, stimulated creativity, group work andlogical reasoning, which gave the students a glimpse of the relationshipamong the new knowledge accomplished and the subjects which they faceeveryday.
Este artigo apresenta os resultados de um projeto onde foram aplicados robôs do kit LEGO como ferramenta didática no ensino de física e matemática para auxiliar a aprendizagem nas disciplinas do nível médio das estudantes da Escola de Ensino Médio Macário Borba localizada em Sombrio-SC. Este curso teve duração de 3 (três) meses e as estudantes resolveram exercícios práticos sobre cinemática, equações algébricas e conservação de energia utilizando projetos de robôs que facilitassem o entendimento. Como resultado percebeu-se a grande motivação das estudantes ao aprenderem de uma maneira mais didática e motivadora, conteúdos considerados complicados.
