As a regional organization, ASEAN has grown dynamically, proven by the increasing number of members and areas of cooperation that have been pursued. Along with globalization, this success is increasingly encouraging the will to achieve integration in ASEAN VISION 2020. Through SWOT analysis of strengths (Strengths), Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) and with the base of regionalism theory, this paper examines the creation of perspective of Southeast Asian integration. Through the framework and analysis of the problems, the results show that there are potential of ASEAN states to grasp the available international opportunity. This is also supported by existing policies in filling opportunities in economic, socio-culture, or politic security area. However, various problems still occured in realizing ASEAN integration. The main problem generally related to the sense of belonging of a person with the value of unity in diversity. Given the circumstances that exist both internally and among ASEAN member countries, presumably the idealism of the formation of integrity of Southeast Asia region is difficult to be realized. Abstrak Sebagai organisasi regional, ASEAN telah berkembang secara dinamis terbukti dengan bertambahnya jumlah anggota maupun bidang kerjasama yang telah dilakukan. Seiring dengan globalisasi, keberhasilan ini makin mendorong kehendak untuk lebih terintegrasi sebagaiman tersurat dalam VISI ASEAN 2020. Melalui analisa SWOT yakni kekuatan(Strenghts), kelemahan (Weakensses) , peluang (Opportunities) dan tantangan (Threats) (SWOT) dan berdasar teori regionalisme, artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana prespektif integrasi Asia Tenggara. Melalui kerangka pemikiran dan analisa kasus, hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi kekuatan negara-negara di kawasan Asia Tenggara cukup besar untuk menangkap peluang internasionalisasi yang ada. Hal ini didukung dengan berbagai kebijakan untuk dalam mengisi peluang ekonomi, sosial budaya, maupun politik keamanan. Namun berbagai persoalan masih kerap muncul dalam mewujudkan integrasi ASEAN. Permasalahan dan tantangan utama adalah menumbuhkan kesadaran sense of belonging dengan nilai-nilai unity in diversity. Dengan berbagai persoalan yang ada baik secara internal maupun antar negara anggota ASEAN, kiranya idealisme terbentuknya integritas kawasan Asia Tenggara sulit terwujud.
Existing research on the influence of motivation on an honest budget has overlooked the roles of certain dark personality traits, management control, and perceived fairness. This study aims to explore the moderating role of Machiavellianism, management control, and fairness in the relationship between internal and external motivation and honest budget reports. This paper comprised two experiments that evaluated the main effect of motivation and moderator effects of the above factors. The first experiment involved 72 graduate students from various Indonesian universities studying accounting or financial management, and the second experiment included 261 undergraduate students from similar fields. Participants were divided into internal and external motivation groups, further randomized into fairness and management control groups, creating eight distinct groups. Each group received a specific scenario corresponding to their allocated group. The results demonstrated that internal motivation had a stronger influence on honest reporting than external motivation (F (1, 257) = 60.36, p < 0.001). However, Machiavellianism weakened this relationship (F (3, 257) = 6.24, p < 0.05). Under complete management control and perceived fairness scenarios, individuals driven by internal motivation reported budget more honestly compared to those with external motivation group under basic management control and perceived unfairness scenarios (F (4, 253) = 4.95, p < 0.001). This analysis contributes to understanding honest budget reports by distinguishing between internal and external motivations and recognizing the moderating roles of Machiavellianism, management control, and fairness. These insights could help organizations design effective budgeting systems and control mechanisms to reduce budgetary slack and improve performance.
Corruption is still a severe problem for many developing countries. One of the efforts to eradicate corruption is implementing a whistleblowing system. This research aims at examining the effects of professional commitment, leadership style, organizational culture, rewards, and level of retaliation towards internal whistleblowing intentions. The sample used in this research consisted of 125 Indonesian civil servants who worked in Klaten Regency, Central Java. This research indicated that professional commitment, organizational culture, leadership style, and reward had a positive and significant effect on internal whistleblowing intentions. However, the research could not show that retaliation influences internal whistleblowing intentions. This research implied strengthening professional commitment, organizational culture, leadership, and rewards that could increase whistleblowing intentions.
Pembiayaan merupakan salah satu kegiatan Baitul Maal wa Tanwil (BMT) untuk meningkatkan sebuah keuntungan sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi target yang telah di tetapkan. Namun di dalam prakteknya terdapat beberapa faktor yang menjadi penghambat BMT dalam menghasilkan keuntungan tersebut, salah satunya adalah pembiayaan bermasalah atau dalam bahasa perbankan di istilahkan dengan Non Performing Financing (NPF). Dalam hal ini berlaku teori jika tingkat NPF tinggi maka profitabilitas serta tingkat bagi hasil akan menurun dan sebaliknya. Pembiayaan bermasalah pada akad mudharabah adalah salah satu pembiayaan yang dapat mempengaruhi keuntungan bagi hasil, apabila kesalahan bukan dari pengelola maka pihak BMT yang akan menanggung kerugian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumenstasi dengan sumber data yang berfokus pada data primer dan sekunder. Selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis, dalam hal ini adalah temuan di lapangan mengenai analisa tingkat NPF dalam pembiayaan mudharabah terhadap peningkatan profitabilitas di BMT Assyafi’iah Kota Gajah Tahun 2017-2019. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian analisa tingkat NPF pada pembiayaan mudharabah pada tahun 2017 pembiayaan bermasalah sebanyak 0,98% dengan nilai lancar atau kolektibilitas 1. Pada tahun 2018 pembiayaan bermasalah sebanyak 3,39% dengan nilai kurang lancar atau kolektibilitas 2. Pada tahun 2019 pembiayaan bermasalah sebanyak 3,76% dengan nilai Kurang lancar/ kolektibilitas 2. Dengan peresentasi kenaikan tingkat NPF mudharabah pada tuhun 2017 sampai dengan tahun 2018 naik sebanyak 2,41%, untuk tahun 2018 sampai dengan tahun 2019 naik sebanyak 0,37%. Berdasarkan hasil analisa di atas presentase peningkatan NPF terhadap pembiayaan mudharabah dari tahun 2017-2019 lebih kecil di bandingkan dengan peningkatan modal pada pembiayaan mudharabah pada tahun 2017-2019, sehingga hal ini berdampak pada peningkatan profitabilitas pada pembiayaan mudharabah di BMT Assyafi’iah Kota Gajah.
