Retrocaval ureter or circumcaval ureter is considered a rare congenital anomaly. We reported a case of 48-year-old woman who presented with right flank pain. In investigations, we found a retreocaval ureter that was treated surgically. In conclusion, retrocaval ureter is rare cause of flank pain and one of the challenging cases for urologists that needs careful investigations.
Renal angiomyolipoma (AML) is a rare type of renal tumor. It consists of blood vessels, smooth muscle components, and mature adipose tissue. We report a rare case of giant renal angiomyolipoma in 36 years old male who had two months of intermittent mild abdominal pain. Computed tomography showed a right renal mass with 35 cm in diameter.
The mass was removed by surgery successfully. The patient had a good health course after surgery.
Inserting Double-j ureteral stent is one of the most popular procedures in urology field. There are different indications for indwelling the stent. For some reasons, it could be neglected for a long time despite its importance. We present a case of 52-year-old patient who had a missed fragment of stent in the urinary bladder for two years with stone formation on one end. We successfully removed the stent and the stone. Such a case is considered rare to deal with during urology practice.
