Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common disease of joints, affecting over 300 million people. It is characterised by joint pain and stiffness, leading to joint dysfunction over time. This paper presents current recommendations for the use of imaging (published by EULAR) and management of OA (issued by EU-LAR, ACR and NICE). The goal of the treatment is to control symptoms of the disease, maintain joint function and maximise patient's performance.
