En el presente trabajo de investigación se detectó la presencia de huevos de Toxocara spp. en parques públicos del distrito Jesús de Nazareno de la Región Ayacucho, Perú. El protocolo empleado evaluó la presencia de huevos de Toxocara spp., el grado de mantenimiento de parques públicos, presencia de cercos y verifi có si existe asociación entre la presencia de estos huevos con la presencia de perros y niños en los parques investigados. Se determinó que el 90% de parques públicos del distrito de Jesús de Nazareno están contaminados con huevos de Toxocara, siendo un 70% con contaminación leve y un 20% con contaminación moderada. En cuanto a la presencia de cercos perimétricos se observó la ausencia de estos en un 60%. Según el análisis estadístico Eta, se vio una asociación baja (0,15) entre la presencia de cercos y el grado de contaminación. Con respecto a la correlación entre la presencia de perros con la presencia de huevos se obtuvo un resultado bajo. Finalmente, la mayor población de niños encontrados fue en el parque Infantil, el cual presentó un grado de contaminación leve indicándonos que el riesgo de infección disminuye pero siempre constituye un problema de salud pública.
El objetivo del presente trabajo fue determinar la seroprevalencia y factores asociados de la leptospirosis humana en trabajadores de limpieza pública del distrito de San Juan Bautista, Ayacucho, Perú. Se realizó una encuesta epidemiológica y las muestras de sangre fueron analizadas por ELISA IgM y microaglutinación (MAT) para la determinación de serovares de Leptospira. De los 41 trabajadores analizados, 25 (62.5%) fueron varones y 16 (37.5%) fueron mujeres. Tres trabajadores resultaron positivos (7.32%), dos varones y una mujer. Ninguno de los posibles factores de riesgo fue estadísticamente significativo. Los tres casos positivos presentaron títulos de 1/3200, 1/1600 y 1/3200 contra el serovar Varillal.
El presente trabajo se realizó en el Matadero Municipal de Pilpichaca Región Huancavelica, con el objetivo de determinar la prevalencia, grados de lesión hepática macroscópica mediante la observación de los hígados y procedencia de alpacas infestadas por Lamanema chavezi, durante los meses de enero a diciembre de 2019, encontrándose los siguientes resultados, de 9,153 alpacas faenados, 3,117 (34.05%) fueron positivos a Lamanema chavezi, siendo la más alta lesión: moderado con 1613 (51.74%), 978 (31.37%) grave y 526 (16.87%) leve; las localidades que presentaron mayor infestación parasitaria por Lamanema chavezi fueron Challhuamayo con 49 (48.51%), seguido de Rumichaca 190 (47.38%), Licapa 187 (45.16%), Totorillas 282 (44.20%), Inkapampa 83 (40.48%) y Sinto 83 (40.09%). Para la evaluación estadística, se utilizó el análisis descriptivo de las variables evaluadas número de animales beneficiados, cantidad de hígados lesionados y procedencia de las alpacas, mediante gráficos de tendencia en los diferentes meses.
El trabajo se realizó en los principales lugares de venta de pescado de la ciudad de Ayacucho, con el objetivo de poder determinar la prevalencia de parásitos ictiozonooticos, se trabajó con 120 muestras de 3 variedades de pescado en 4 lugares de venta a través de la técnica de observación visual, encontrando una prevalencia de 52,5%, mercado Nery García 14,17%, mercado Grau 13,33%, nazareno y Covadonga con 12,5% respectivamente, cantidad de positivos en el bonito 26, seguido del jurel con 23 muestras positivas y finalmente lisa con 14 positivas. Para el caso de Anisakis sp. mayor cantidad en el mercado Grau 14 positivos, seguido de Nery García 13 positivos, Nazarenos 1O positivos y finalmente en Covadonga 9 positivos. En cuanto al Diphyllobothrium sp. en el mercado Covadonga 9 positivos, seguido de Nery García 6 positivos, Nazareno 5 positivos y finalmente Grau 3 positivos. El tipo de parasitismo, en Nery García monoparasitismo Anisakis sp. 11 muestras, Diphyllobothrium sp. 3 muestras y el Biparasitismo Anisakis sp. + Diphyllobothrium sp en 4 muestras. En mercado Grau monoparasitismo Anisakis sp. 13 muestras, Diphyllobothrium sp. 2 muestras y Biparasitismo Anisakis sp. + Diphyllobothrium sp en 2 muestras. En mercado Nazareno monoparasitismo Anisakis sp. 1O muestras, Diphyllobothrium sp. 4 muestras y el Biparasitismo Anisakis sp. + Diphyllobothrium sp en 1 muestra. En mercado Covadonga monoparasitismo Anisakis sp. 7 muestras, Diphyllobothrium sp. 8 muestras y el Biparasitismo Anisakis sp. + Diphyllobothrium sp en 1 muestra.
El presente trabajo de investigación, se realizó en la comunidad Campesina de Allpachaka, distrito de Chiara, región Ayacucho en temeros pre destete, mediante el análisis de heces por el método Me Master Modificado , durante el año 2018, con el fin de estimar la carga parasitaria e identificar y determinar la asociación de los nematodos gastrointestinales encontrándose los siguientes resultados: De 42 terneras predeste examinadas se encontró una carga parasitaria nematodica promedio de 652.38 hpgh con desviación estándar de 284.76 y coeficiente de variación de 43.65% y se identificaron los siguientes nematodos como monoparasitsmo: Tricostrongylus spp 21.42%, Cooperia spp 04.76% y Oesophagostomun spp 02.38%; biparasitismo: trichostrongylus / oesophagostonmn 26.19%, tricostrongylus/cooperia 19.04% y cooperia/ oesophagostomun 02.38%, en cambio el triparasitismo fue trichostrongylus/ oesophagostomun/ cooperia 23.80%.
