En la presente investigación se planteó como objetivo general analizar los efectos jurídicos del control y sanción por dar muerte a animal de fauna urbana. Este estudio se fundamentó en el enfoque cuantitativo, a través de la búsqueda, recolección y análisis crítico documental, referencial bibliográfico, estudios o proyectos de investigación, desde la interpretación del derecho. En este caso, se pretende aplicar como técnica de investigación, la revisión documental de textos, doctrina y normas. Por otro lado, se aplico las técnicas de la encuesta, cuya indagación permitió el método de análisis del fenómeno de estudio y la obtención de información relevante para la construcción del tejido teórico. Se realizaron 120 encuestas a diferentes personas de la localidad. Se concluye que, es necesario considerar que el Estado ecuatoriano efectivamente está alineada al control y la regulación de la muerte de animales pertenecientes de la fauna urbana.

Se desarrolló como metodología el enfoque cuantitativo, mediante la exploración, recolección y análisis crítico a través de una tipología documental, apoyada con el diseño bibliográfico que busca la reflexión y análisis, construyendo métodos relacionados al juicio del fenómeno y así evaluar o discurrir nuevos argumentos. Al respecto, se examinaron y analizaron fuentes documentales a nivel teórico, tesis, y trabajos arbitrados entre otros vinculadas con los aspectos centrales del trabajo. Se concluye sobre la importancia de la preservación de la escena del crimen es un factor relevante para lograr realizar un proceso legal transparente apoyado en técnicas científicas de preservación y conservación de las evidencias físicas, lo cual se convierte en pruebas irrefutables y material para llevar a cabo en conjunto con la fiscalía, policía y medicina forense.
