This work is an investigation of phase formation, crystal structure, microstructure, dielectric and magnetic properties of (Pb 0.45 Ca 0.55 )(Fe 0.5 Nb 0.5 ) 1-y Zr y O 3 where y varies from 0.00 to 0.15 in the steps of 0.03 synthesized by columbite precursor method. XRD results indicate the main phase of pseudo-cubic symmetry for all the solid solutions. Dielectric properties of the synthesized samples have been measured as a function of frequency from 200 kHz to 120 MHz at room temperature. Obtained results have shown that the introduction of Zr has improved the dielectric properties by decreasing the loss tangent values. Narrow magnetic hysteresis loops were observed at room temperature. When increasing Zr content at B-site, the saturation magnetization (M s ), remnant magnetization (M r ) and coercive field (H c ) increase up to y = 0.03 and then decreased.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
