The starting process of Tubular Linear InductionMotor is simulated dynamically on the basis of two-dimensional (2-D) finite element analysis method and the parameters are calculated and analyzed numerically, such as starting thrust force, magnetic field density, flux linkage, velocity and placement of mover as well as magnetic flux density in the air gap, etc. The computing results indicate that thrust force and magnetic flux density in starting process is greater than one in stable progress, and varies of thrust force is along with the mover's materials. The calculating results are available for further studying of tubular linear induction motor and its controlling system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
